Rooms are too small & congested though, awkward moving around in; spa is very minimal & does not have good views & hotels right in the middle of a residential area so though the mountains in the distance are spectacular, you look onto dozens of unsightly rooftops & into houses directly in front of you in the immediate vicinity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After giving a misleading rating at first, i received a personal call from the manager who sorted things out for me. It turns out the Hotel Ritzenhof and Restaurant at the Ritzensee are two quite different places.
5 stars for sorting things out for me and for (as i have seen at a personal visit) offering good serice at a nice hotel.

The room facing the lake terrace is fun.
Nice pool and good water heat.
Free parking is very convenient.
Fun walking around the lake.
I enjoyed walking the area on foot and also traveling by car, a beautiful place to return for another visit

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place with a SPA, lounge area near the lake! Very delicious breakfast and especially 5 courses dinner. Friendly service, comfortable rooms, fabulous view. The only one thing I didn’t like was lighting in the second (dark) restaurant area, not very comfortable to spend there long time.
