★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I‘ve been a regular guest at Kantine for many many years and always liked the easy & casual atmosphere compared to other cafes there. Food used to be great and affordable, sadly this has changed and I found my usual Pita Halloumi meal less than satisfying: the cheese wasn’t grilled, the bread no pita and quite tough and the price was significantly increased since I last came ... I will give Kantine one more chance but won’t return or recommend anymore haha f it isn’t a better experience then.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every time I come to Wien, I come here for lunch. My favourite is the Wiener Schnitzel which always turns up to be so good. The place itself gives you a good state of mind, the restaurant being very lighted. The staff is very polite and friendly, at the same time. The serving is fast and without any inconvenience.
If you happen to visit Wien, you definetly have to try out this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The MQ Kantine is a nice and artsy cantina/cafeteria of the MuseumsQuartier of Vienna, the Viennese Museum of Modern Art, right next to the famous Mariahilferstraße and the Kunsthistorisches Museum (Art History Museum) and Naturhistorisches Museum (Natural History Museum) at the famous Ringstrasse.
The opening hours of the MQ Kantine are great, since it is open until 02:00 am on every day of the week. The staff is nice and the food is delicious, as we had a Tomato-Bulgur-Soup and a Toast, as well a Cappuccino. I want to emphasize the very special decorative illumination of this place wherefore the artsy aura of the MuseumQuartier and the many exhibitions throughout the year are reflected in these effects.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every time i get here, i always order the Wiener Schnitzel and it always lives up to my expectations! They have reasonable prices, with a wide selection of drinks and dishes, plus a daily menu of the day! The staff are also friendly and the place is situated in a nice zone in Vienna. Definitely recommend it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's the third time I came here and I can honestly say that all the meals are extremely delicious! It's perfectly located in the middle of Vienna, at one end of Mariahilferstraße and taking this into consideration, all the prices are pretty decent (between 5 and 20 euros). Also, the staff is really friendly. Thus, I will doubtlessly come again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to be one of my favourite places to eat. Has now changed hands. I can't speak for the rest of the menu but the schnitzel is not as it used to be, served with cold tinned potatoes. Would recommend ordering one of the newer dishes as I reckon they just keep the old ones for continuity, but not their speciality.
