The hairdresser that did my hair was very nice and did a very good job. However, I ended up paying DOUBLE the price that they told me it was going to be just because they washed and dried it (which I told them explicitly not to do because I had just washed my hair at home).

Went to this place a couple of times. First time the hairdresser cut my favorite earring in half. Second time I got a better hairdresser, so wanted to return a third time. I learned that the nice hairdresser left the business in the meantime (Kiki was great!) but I made an appointment anyway and came on time. A receptionist by the name of Vanessa told me on the spot that I need a negative COVID-19 test in order to get to my appointment while nothing was mentioned on the phone. I was very upset, but prepared to let it go and go back to work . Then Vanessa said I can go and make a quick test right next door which takes about 10 minutes and come back and take my appointment still. I went and did the test. Came back in 10 minutes while still waiting for a result via SMS. Vanessa told me that now that the test was not complete in 10 minutes my appointment is gone and they are full for the next week so I can reschedule much later. I was shocked as she literally just told me to go and make the test and I will be able to keep my appointment. When I expressed my dismay, she never apologized and kept saying this is my fault for coming without the test, and that I should have known that she will not keep my appointment if I come back without test result later than 10 minutes, despite her not giving me this information prior. When I tried to explain to Vanessa why I am upset at her for completely wasting my time, Vanessa just kept repeating the same things and refused to take any responsibility for her lack of informing me. The staff around Vanessa were not very helpful in resolving the situation at all. After she stormed off claiming I was screaming at her (I was speaking passionately due to being upset but that was hardly screaming), her colleague finally apologized for the situation instead of her. Would not recommend. Complete lack of respect to other people's time.

I'm the second person, who was treated poorly by Vanessa. I had an appointment at 14:15. When I got there at 14:10 Vanessa told me that I still have to wait. And asked for my Corona test. No one told me about Corona test over the phone so I did not have it. The tests are a common thing here in Vienna, so I am not arguing with the fact that I should have thought about having it anyway. Not having the test results with me was probably my fault. But that was not the problem. Vanessa told me (and my fried) that there was a speed test just next door. We should simply take it and come back. After we came back however (the test took 10-15 min and we were supposed to get the results in 15 min) she told both of us that it was no longer possible to get our haircuts. We were speechless Here is the thing. If Vanessa had told us from the very beginning that we only had 10 min for the whole test procedure, we wouldn't have to wait in line for the test, we wouldn't have done the test at all. We would have simply rescheduled our appointment. That's it. I find the whole thing completely disrespectful towards me, my friend and our time. And just to make things even worse, when I told her about how unacceptable it was and if she could at least apologize for wasting our time, her reply was literally "No, that's ok." I'm not kidding here. When I then asked if she understood what was wrong with her attitude and the whole situation, she also replied "That's fine, whatever". I have never been treated like that in any hair salon in my entire life. She just continued repeating that it was all our fault because we did not have the tests. In the end she just said "we don't have to talk anymore" and stormed out of the room. That's it. Again. I understand that not having the test with me was my mistake. No one is arguing with that. But not informing me about loosing my appointment if the test takes more than 10 min is entirely Vanessa's mistake. Absolute unwillingness to admit this mistake and to simply apologize for that as well as the "whatever" attitude is an unprofessional and rude behavior. I was a client of MK Hairlounge for a little over a year. But I'll never go back there again.

I can only say one thing: thank you so much. The hair salon is really clean and the staff is really nice. A big thank you to my hairdresser Deniz, it was worth waiting for. The cut is clean and I'm just happy that I'm for once satisfied with my hair cut when leaving a saloon. I really can recommend this saloon. Sending much love to the team ⭐
