It is about the 5th time I went to McShark and I have truly always had a terrible experience. Also, the store tends to be very badly stocked and I rarely find what I need. Certain products they sell are heavily overpriced (e.g. Screen protectors). The last two times I received a terrible service from an employee in his mid-thirties, bold. He was extremely rude, unavailable to answer any questions. Will never go again.

Worst customer service I ever encountered. Very rude workers. The people there don’t even know how to wear a mask and weren’t helpful at all. I could find better advice on Reddit than there. Really don’t recommend.

gave my phone for a simple battery exchange on my iphone 6, on the apple site it states that it shouldn’t take long, maybe a couple hours. i was told i’ll have to wait 2-4 weeks. i was ok with that i thought that maybe many people will exchange their battery before 31.12. as it’s cheaper (29€) then. i was just gonna use my old phone. a week later i got a mail. they said that i should just buy a new phone (over 300€). i was enraged and went to twitter where apple support soon reached out and tried to help me. they said that even that they are authorised i should get a second opinion. a few days later i was finally able to pick up my phone. i got it and guess what? i had to pay 40€. for a job that was 29€. oh and for a job that they didn’t even do!! they charged 40€ for the advice they have given me. 40€ for telling me i should just buy a new phone. again i was enraged. BUT,,, don’t you worry it gets better!! a few HOURS later my dad called me. i picked up. weird i couldn’t hear him. hm. i tried calling him back. nothing. it went back and forth for a few calls until i was getting suspicious. i went on whatsapp and played a voice message, holding it up to my ear so it would play on the top speaker, nothing. they broke my top speaker. I PAID THEM 40€ FOR THEM TO DAMAGE MY PHONE!!! i’m still in contact with apple support and they are referring me to a specialist to solve this. but honestly the service here was absolutely ridiculous. i feel scammed! wouldn’t surprise me if they broke my phone and then just decided to tell me to buy a new one (blaming the reason on me) and hoping i’d just buy it. im literally a broke student that chose to change battery before the 31st bc it was cheaper. but yeah sure i can afford a new phone. would not recommend going there. only if you like barking dogs in the store. which there were. Update: after getting off my call with the apple headquarters in cork i tried to open my front camera to find out it wasn’t working. Update no.2: After all this happened I did go to the official apple store and they did confirm it was actually this shops fault that my phone was broken. They gave me a replacement phone.
