★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Marienbrunnen is a fountain in Anton Neumayr public square, in the old town of Salzburg. The fountain sits on a hexagonal basin and in the centre, there is a sculpture of Mary with child. Mary is depicted holding the infant Jesus in her right arm.
Not a must see, but you'll likely pass this to see the Gstattentor or on the way to the Horse Well.
