Epic imperial place with the Statue of Empress Maria Theresia surrounded by the Kunsthistorisches Museum (Museum of Arts), the Naturhistorisches Museum (Museum of Natural History), the Outer Castle Gate (Heldentor), and the MQ (Museums Quartier). You can feel Vienna's history and splendor the most here. A must see when you visit Vienna, but you will trip over it anyway no matter where you start your city tour.

My favourite square in Vienna! It’s just so grand and spacious. The two museums here are also just so stunning - I love to just lie on the grass and stare into space. If you come here in summer, you can also see the various flowers of different colours! Winter’s also beautiful here, as there’s a Christmas market! It’s just a great space for any time of the year!

Great plaza with another stunning statue set in the middle and two classic buildings (Baroque architecture).

Absolutely beauty of a time square. The Art History and Natural History museums are here and the Marie Theresa statue is an amazing work of art. Mozart and Haydn are two of the most famous featured on the monument. Vienna is a calm and peaceful place and would 10/10 recommend seeing this historic city and focal point of the city !

The project of Maria Theresa Square in the center of Vienna was fully implemented: in 1888, the monument to Empress Maria Theresa (the largest dedicated to the Habsburgs in Vienna) was opened, in 1889 - the Museum of Natural History, in 1891 - the Museum of Art History. Maria Theresa Square is decorated with four lawns, decorated with fountains with tritons and naiads.
