Nice food. Good service and nice surroundings

Good hotel, bad wifi in our room. Food quality varied from good to meh.

It's a beautiful pub right in the centre of Zell am See. The service was excellent and all the staffs was very friendly. We had Goulash soup and Apple Strudel absolutely delicious! Pl

Pros When we first arrived we were made to feel very welcomed & served chocolate upon arrival. Good breakfast Cons It is definitely not within the “hotels star rating” criteria No basic amenities (like kittle, water, mini bar, ...etc) were provided other than the towels. No proper ventilation in the bathroom. We had to keep the door open to dry it out. Only 1 thin pillow provided per person & Bed was horribly uncomfortable (2 single beds pushed together) hurting the back, neck, and allover body. I have honestly never been anywhere and met such rude two faced staff (excluding the reception woman who was lovely). They are stingy! Staring closely while filling (500 ml bottle) with hot water during breakfast & They charged 3.5€ for a refill at night & surprisingly they refill it with a volume of small cup (100 ml). Their manager (his name Hanzer) or as he claimed (the boss of the hotel) was racist & arrogant with money grabbing attitude & no basic knowledge of costumer service. I never give places a bad review but the lack of customer service and professionalism from this place was shocking! He was so disturbed to respond to our inquiries although we didn’t ask him. He was shouting & hitting the table & saying he is busy & have so much more important work to do without decent clarifications about our payments inquiries before or upon arrival. The hotel is very noisy at night. We couldn’t sleep until the loading works are finished & hotel staff are gone because they were drinking & shouting till 2:00 am every night.

The apple strudel was really yummy. Really interesting place inside with lots & lots of pictures, posters & souvenirs hung around as decoration. Only gave 4 star because there was a lady who served us who was a bit rude. My husband was trying his best to learn a bit of the language & order & the woman had zero patience & overall had a sour face on her. Dont know if she was having a bad day maybe. Despite this, I would recommend stopping by

Nice and cosy typical restaurant, we loved the atmosphere, with even the waitress dressed up as locals. Many typical dishes and not too expensive, portions are big enough also. Happy with the overall experience
