Such a nice example of an austrian Gasthaus. The staff here are very nice and they have some fantastic vegetarian options. Just a few minutes walk from prater.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was prepared very quickly and presented hot and fresh! Portions are enormous and I consider myself a big eater! Staff were attentive. We got the last available table as a walk in, and watched others being turned away. Menu is very large and in multiple languages. Staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great local Austrian food very close to Prater. The food was tasty and judging by local people in the restaurant it must be authentic too. The portions are quite big. In my opinion it is much more for a single person. We had a big appetite and we were thankful that we didn't order desert or starter. We striggled to finish the main dish only. There are good vegetarian option also. The people here speak English and the menu is also in English. Pricewise I would say it is moderate.
Overall a nice place to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is one to go for when you are looking for some simple and tasty local food. The service is impeccable, and the staff will know to take your orders in English too. Dishes are very generous and taste is excellent (soups are the best to start with). If you go for a meal, you must get the Kaiserschman for desert (get it to share, as it's big even for two). Prices are also very decent for the area.
