The hotel is beautifully presented and spotlessly clean, as is the pool, spa, bedrooms and dining/bar area. The staff are very professional, and polite, having learnt that they have all worked there for many years which speaks for itself. I’ve stayed at many quality hotels around the world and this is as good as the best 5* hotels I’ve been too, so being a 4* you will not be disappointed! X	Xylar Asay-Davis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner and had a wonderful week at Hotel Zum Stern. In Autumn, the prices for rooms including 3/4 board were very reasonable. We very much enjoyed the dinners, breakfasts and the occasional afternoon snacks (though we were mostly too busy hiking in the area to make it back in time for these). The staff was always extremely friendly and helpful, as well as very personable. They gave us several good tips on activity in the area and hikes to try. The spa was also a delight, especially after a long day of hiking, with several dry and steam saunas, a quiet lounge area and many other amenities. Massages are also available and the back massage I got was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel for a weekend getaway or a longer vacation.

This was a family holiday with 4 children and the hotel staff were all wanting and accommodating to our every wishes. The food was excellent and over the seven days there were different meals and buffets daily. There also was a buffet lunch daily. There is a family sauna that you can book also there is an amazing adult sauna which is better than many I have been to. Thank you Zum Stern for a week of enjoyment and relaxation. There was no staff member that did not make an effort to give us exceptional hospitality. If you are looking for a good ski hotel that is not on the slopes there is nothing I can fault the hotel over except congratulations for your effort and hard work it is truly paying off.
