★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a tremendous 1 week holiday at this hotel. It deserves all its 4 stars. Situated a 5 minute walk from the town centre via a beautiful park. We used the swimming pool, tennis courts and inexpensive bike hire. The room was very clean and smart and the buffet meals were all excellent. If you are English speaking ask for the English menu at bfast because it contains useful tips for the day. Bad Hofgastein is also a very smart and level town whereas Bad Gastein is much more hilly. The whole holiday is definately recommendable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good hotel. Nice and big. Very good breakfast spread. Buffet evening meals were fine. Plenty of choice. Only negative for me was that you have to haul your luggage up and down a few stairs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was part of half board option, food was good most nights with a good selection, breakfast options were very good and tasty, single rooms are very basic and small but seemed to be kept clean. Heat wasnt an issue in rooms was very warm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent two weeks here over Christmas and New year. The room, balcony with mountain views, was clean and tidy and a decent size. The staff were great and helped me out on several occasions as my companion has a bad back. They had a fairly good grasp of English which was a good thing as my German isn't great.
The pool is nice. Breakfast was good as well. A free ski bus, arriving at every 15 minutes outside the hotel, takes you to the slopes and back again.
The bad points are the beds are a bit hard and no tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay but having no tea making facilities in the room seems quite an oversight.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor stuff, the hotel is suited for 60+ years old people. The breakfast offer is not wide, the equipment of hotel is poor, almost no accessories on your room. On the plus side - hotel pool was really good. Would not recommend for younger travelers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have noticed today that there were a lovely Muslim group in the hotel but I was so disappointed on how the Manger was acting towards them. it is sad to see that racism still exist. Please ask your staff specialy your restaurant Manger to stop being races to them. I cannot believe how the Manger was behaving. we should respect any kind of people from all over the world.

Restaurant’s waiters in the hotel did not let any of our tourism group to sit down on any of the restaurant tables beside the window although they are empty and not reserved!! It is an obvious racial/religious discrimination. When discussed with the manager she said it is the hotel policy. In addition, there is limited options of food for breakfast. I’ll never come back to this hotel and I would not recommend it to any.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel us quite nice with lots of spa facilities. Close to centre and ski lifts. But they only serve a buffet type meal which I am not a lover of, plus some staff were not too helpful.
