★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have stayed at the Hotel Sonne for the last month with a group of ski instructors as we trained for our exams. Melanie and her family looked after us superbly. Here are some examples of how ace they were: letting me check in a little early (I arrived a bit before the others); welcoming us and learning our names immediately, doing my washing at odd hours; assisting members of the team who had to have a car repaired locally and another who needed help with logistics after a ski accident; always being friendly and helpful - for instance giving us the weather forecast in the mornings; providing tasty, varied and nutritious meals (both the breakfast and dinners were delicious); being flexible with meal times to suit the needs of the team; providing exceptional value for money; good ski room and sauna; spacious and spotlessly clean rooms. These are some of the things that spring to mind. Thanks for a great month Melanie and Pepe and family!

We came as a group of English ski instructors who are staying here for a month.
Hospitality couldn't have been better. Admittedly, its not in the height of season but Melanie and family can't do enough for us.
We've had help from dealing with mechanics and garages when having issues with our vehicle to doing our laundry if needed.
Hotel is ideally located at the first bus stop up to the glacier which comes handy being the first one before it gets further up the hill and becomes quite busy.
The cleaners are in the rooms everyday - often we just asked fo it to be cleaned every other day or so.
But it has been the small things for us which has made it a memorable stay such as learning all of our names and really having an interest in you makes you feel very welcome.
Can't recommend enough
