★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped there for lunch during our Vienna Experience Danube Valley tour . Traditional, bright, warm and efficient. The food spread was okay, the turkey main course was unusual given the Bavarian theme. The freshly prepared bread and butter pudding desert was beautifully delicate and light.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Review of restaurant -- set meal that was included in the Wachau Valley tour. The service was friensly, although there was a long wait for the food for the large group. It is a lovely dining room, charming and clean. The food was ok, typical of tour group food. Vegetables were from frozen, turkey was dry. There was a vegetarian tortellini option, which was a bit salty. Overall, a nice lunch stop for convenience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been there multiple times and I can say that everything they have on the menu is very delicious and nicely prepared with good sized portions. The service is very friendly and professional. It’s a bit higher on the price range, however, the experience is worth it.
On a nice summer day you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere. They have rooms too but we have not stayed there yet.
