★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in Melk for 2 days and ate here both evenings, and enjoyed drinks here during the daytime. We were very happy with meals and service. Josef waited on us and was so attentive, he was a wonderful waiter and person in general. It is classic Austrian meals and as an Austrian family, it is what we look for when we come to such places and so I can definitely recommend. The garten was beautiful and cooling especially as the weather gets hotter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice and helpful staff, they gave us a table without reservation. They ask for a covid certificate. The schnitzel and the stuffed pork chop were super good! Very clean bathrooms!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a perfect dinner there. Excellent Wienerschnitzel and Käsespätzle. Very well priced. The waiter very friendly. We will eat there again for sure and we strongly recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome food and meticulous service! Their vegetarian plates are excellent and a great price. And the terrace is away from the road which is much better than the tables by the street.
Just be aware that if you're not a registered hotel guest, you'll have to show your Covid vaccination proof or certificate of Immunity/negative test.

Food: 7/10 the Wiener Schnitzel was really good, bit crunchy. The cake was also good but I guess not really fresh.
Drinks: 8/10 I really enjoed the local white wine and the beer from the house.
Location: 7/10 simple ambience but very light
