The breakfast was delicious and available till 11.00 am.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would highly recommend this hotel. The facilities, cleanliness and breakfast are outstanding. The family who own/operate it are super friendly and helpful. Location is great with an easy drive or direct bus a few minutes into central Salzburg.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked 2 weeks in advance for 1 night stay. Two days before checking in, while on the trip through Austria, government has announced lockdown starting from Tuesday. They didn't contact me, I had to ask them if everything is still ok and my little baby would be able to sleep and get back home. Response comes on the check in day, that they are closed (Monday). Good that I've asked myself. Booked another hotel without issues, because lockdown is next day, not on Monday.
Then the cancellation process. I had to ask why the status is still Confirmed, and all they responded was the same: the cancellation is free. Okay, I know, but please could you cancel it? No response. I even sent them request to cancel and they didn't react upon it. Contacted Booking Customer service and within an hour got my cancellation.
So much unnecessary stress with this hotel, where they should have:
- informed me in advance of cancellation
- cancelled promptly without any communication back and forth and doing actually nothing
- responded faster
- took us on Monday at the first place, without any cancellation. Seems like they didn't want to work one more day before lockdown.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place from the outside is deceiving but the room and the view is incredible. The staff are great. Small dining menu plenty of options nearby. Attention was paid to even small details in the room. Its just enjoyable. You are immersed in nature. We'll worth the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spotlessly clean and friendly. We stayed one night in a family room labeled as "budget family room", but it had no look or feel of a budget option. It was huge, modern, well thought out both in terms of functionality and design, and had a spacious balkony with a mountain view.
The kids enjoyed the small playground in the garden.
I highly recommend the breakfast.
