★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely recommend this fantastic hotel. The location is directly opposite the Achterjet ski-lift that brings you all the way to the middle of the Flachau ski-area. The hotel is also opposite the Hermann Maier ski-school and Intersport, and has a ski-rental shop on property.
Then the food & service. In one word amazing! The half board comes with an amazing breakfast buffet, with fresh juices, home made jams, yoghurts, eggs, cheeses, hams & sausages and fresh breads and croissants (I'm probably missing stuff here). After skiing there is a snack included from 3-5pm with something savory and a variety of sweets as well as coffee, tea and hot chocolate.
Then the dinner, most nights this consists of a 6-course dinner, which matches or exceeds a fancy restaurant in quality. Expect a starter, soup, salad buffet, main course (typically choice of fish/meat or vegetarian), followed by dessert and cheese buffet.
Service is warm, caring and friendly, and personal from day one!
The rooms are sizeable and the hotel has sauna & steam bath (included) and massage facilities (extra). Although we were here in winter, I can imagine it would be awesome for summer vacation as well.
If not clear from the description above, this place is amazing and you'd definitely need to check it out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely deserves an excellent rating. Excellent for the place itself and it's super friendly stuff, excellent for the food and especially excellent for the great time we had. The details: super clean rooms, we were welcomed very nice and had a great conversation about our plans for the next days with a lot of recommendations what to do, breakfast is very high quality, dinner is even better and has definitely 'gourmet' status. We will come back, for sure!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice Hotel with great food. Personnel is very friendly. Very good breakfast. Only thing that is a bit slow is the internet, so you should be prepare to use your own data plan. Otherwise everything is perfect and we enjoyed our short stay.

The food is excellent and diversified. The staff is attentive and friendly.
We enjoyed the stay, the room was clean and spacious, with no outside noise.
The location of the hotel is very convenient, in front of the lift for the ski and close to a lot of hiking places.
Free bike renting is proposed and the bikes were very well maintained.
Every day, at breakfast time the hotel suggests some activities do for the day. The tourism information center website also provides a lot of information about hiking roads and other activities.
