SKI SCHOOL HERMANN MAIER IN FLACHAU

Unsere 3 Kinder waren das erste Mal in dieser Skischule und wir sind total begeistert! Wahnsinn wie man so viele Kinder trotzdem so individuell betreuen kann, alle Achtung an das ganze Team! Besonderer Dank geht an Bram und Tim die meiner kleinsten mit wahnsinnig viel Geduld die Liebe zum Skisport definitiv näher gebracht haben! Wir können diese Skischule zu 100% weiterempfehlen!

Auch im Jahr 2022 hatten wir wieder bei der Skischule Hermann Maier gebucht! Das gleiche Ergebnis wie vor 2 Jahren, eine tolle Aufnahme der Kinder (4, 7, 12,12), ein sehr aufmerksamer Skilehrer Mario und was das wichtigste war, die Kinder hatten Spaß, haben einen riesen Sprung i.S. Skifahren gemacht, waren voll begeistert! Vielen Dank von uns an das gesamte Hermann Maier Skischulteam! Wir können die Skischule bestens empfehlen, hatten im Januar 2019 mit dem Skilehrer „Mario“ einen Top-Guide für unsere Herren Skigruppe? Mario war auch in den Faschingsferien der Skilehrer unserer Kinder, alle waren voll begeistert? Professionelle Skischule, Top Preis Leistungsverhältnis, gerne auch im nächsten Winter!

Unsere Kinder haben heuer, das zweite Jahr die Skischule besucht. Beiden hat es wie auch voriges Jahr sehr gut gefallen. Die Skilehrer und Skilehrerinnen sind super nett und versuchen auf jedes Kind einzugehen. Es wundert mich heuer schon zum zweiten Mal, wie man solche Massen an Kinder immer wieder betreuen kann. Hut ab, dass das alles immer so gut klappt. Vielen Dank an die Skilehrer Tim, Nadine, Frederique und Elisabeth vom Vorjahr und heuer Marije und Anders. Guten Gewissens, kann ich die Skischule weiterempfehlen und wir freuen uns schon aufs nächste Jahr.

Heute hatte mein Sohn 2stunden privat Unterricht beim Benjamin und war voll begeistert. Sie hatten jede menge Spaß und auch neue Sachen gelernt. Mein Sohn hat mich jetzt gerade gefragt wann er das nächste mal wieder mit dem Skilehrer unterwegs sein darf. In 2019 heb ik hier 5 dagen groepsles gehad, erg leerzaam en ook leuk. Hele goede, fijne Deense skileraar (Anders). Beveel ik van harte aan.

Highly recommended, teachers take care very well, our Kids enjoyed every minute. We will come back!

This is the 3rd ski school we used in Flachau for our kids. The school has a good name, but as with any ski school, it really depends what instructor your children get. The instructors are professional, but according to my children their instructor could've been a bit more fun. There are 2 downsides to this ski school. If you book a few (less than 6) days lessons and need ski gear, the other schools in Flachau offer packages for the gear for a full week, often at no extra cost. With Herman Maier (HM) you can't even book the gear for more days than you take lessons, you will have to pay extra for the days you didn't book lessons at Intersport Arena. Tip: if you book 6 days lessons+gear Intersport will let you have the gear for 7 days (the difference between 5 or 6 days grouplessons is only €10 at the time of this review). Also Intersport Arena does not let you collect the gear early on day of arrival without paying extra (unless after 15:00hr) This wasn't a problem with other ski rentals in Flachau I've used before. Another small downside -which won't affect most- is the price/award ceremony for the kids. This is often a highlight for them, unfortunately HM has this ceremony in a separate location in Flachau village at 4pm. If you're staying in a hotel on the mountain -like we did- and can only get back with the ski lift you're going to have to miss the ceremony as the last lift goes up at 4:15pm. Other ski schools have this ceremony on the slopes and/or at an earlier time. One of the nicest photo booklets available, unfortunately also one of the most expensive at €20 each. The ride in the HM pistenbully for the kids is a great bonus. HM says the other ski shools have their own ski rental facilities this is why other schools can offer a better deal for rental, HM claim they make no money on the photographs (another company again). They also have the ceremony in a bar/restaurant which I suspect they claim they don't benefit from (drinks/food) and they give your kids a free ticket for the lucky flitzer (great fun!) on which kids under 8 can only ride with a paying adult (at €8,50 each). It seems very nice of HM they provide these other companies with this business HM claims they don't benefit from.... I would still recommend this ski school, just keep in mind the difference (extra) in ski gear rental prices and if you need the lift to get back to your hotel your kids will have to miss the ceremony.

It was a great experience. The teachers are very good and they take time with each student. We booked for adult snd kids and we were really happy with our choice
