Have been here several times and each time the hotel has something new to offer.
It's a wonderful hotel for a relaxed weekend but also close enough to Salzburg if you want to have a city trip.
Can only recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experience and stay at the Genusshotel Gmachl!
The rooftop is a adults only area with an infinity pool including a stunning view of the Salzburg fortress in the distance. It got everything you wish for: Steam bath, various saunas, salt bath and different indoor and outdoor pools. The design of the hotel is modern with a lot of wooden parts, I can imagine that a lot of planning went into it because it ended up to be perfect in my opinion.
The price is justified and totally worth every cent.
The hotel got it's own brewery, butcher and different restaurants. They even got a shop where you can buy products of the region.
Salzburg downtown is very easy and fast to reach from the hotel. Staff is very friendly and attentive. We will be back (soon!).

My favorite is the new Grüne Insel (45C gorgeous room that will make you feel like you are in the middle of nature). Owners are always checking around if you are having a good experience, which is really valuable. Thanks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely mountain chic hotel with a nice staff, a cosy spa and outdoor pool and big sauna area for relaxation. Very relaxing place to stay with a variety of outdoor activities. The only thing: i forgot my toothbrush and had to pay for toothbrush and toothpaste 5 euro. Really? in such a hotel?!? Never ever happened to me before and i am traveling a lot. It’s not about the price, it’s about costumer relationship.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic, very cozy hotel and spa. Loved the atmosphere, breakfast was probably the best buffet breakfast I've ever had in a hotel, dinner was very, very tasty as well. Variety of saunas, indoor and outdoor pools. I'd recommend for a romantic getaway at any time of the year

From the super friendly staff, the amazing room, the amazingly beautiful spa area and the delicious food. There is nothing we could even think of making better. Thanks to the Gmachl for the amazing time!
