Every year I start season in this hotel! ALready 7 years in a row. All is good here ! They dont have only 24 hours dining.

This place is fancy, but I think their golden times are over. Hotel is so big, that even cannot be cozy. Room heating cannot be controlled manually, so only way how to cold the room is open balcony door. We cannot sleep because there were overheated. Bathroom is nice, big, clean, with toiletries. Public spa area with big pool, outdoor jacuzzi and steam and sauna are clean and nice.Most of staff (waiters) are not local, but expats, mostly Slovak or Czech. Which is better, because they are more human :-) Food is issue here. Even we were there two times I do not like their cousine. Trying to offer health and fancy cousine, but my opinion is that cook cannot use seasoning, especially salt. All food has no taste. All you need to finish on plate, which is not good, even when you need to ask for pepper and salt, because you do not have it on the table. Combination of main and side dishes did not work for me as well. I will not come back there.

My entire stay at the Berghof Resort was absolutely wonderful. It was truly one of the best vacations I've ever had. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and full of gorgeous views. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, and the location was directly across from a bus route to the mountain for easy ski access. The staff were excellent and unfailingly polite. They accommodated every request I made and were able to answer any questions I had about the resort or the surrounding area. In particular, Bogdan was incredibly helpful and had a great sense of humor. He made my stay even better than I would have expected. The food at the resort is delicious. The menu changed daily and contained many various types and styles of food. The breakfast buffet also offers a wide selection of excellent teas, which was a personal favorite of mine. The room was spacious and well equipped, with everything one might expect to find. It was neat and clean, and I had no complaints. Finally, the spa area of the hotel was amazing. There are many various areas available for relaxtion. The pool area may become a little crowded or loud in the evening, but there are still several areas which are adult-exclusive and offer peace and quiet. The many varieties of sauna were wonderful. TL;DR - Book a stay at this hotel. You won't be disappointed.

Great hotel with wonderful hosts and attention to detail. Make sure to book/ask for one of the newer/renovated rooms as they are beautifully designed with a modern bathroom with roomy shower, nice views, and lots of wood (and far less stuffy than the old rooms). The spa is one of the nicest I have been to with numerous saunas and a very nice pool; great treatments as well. One of the highlights is the selection and quality of food from buffet breakfast (and eggs/pancakes/waffles to order) to five-course dinner (with a lovely selection of a meat, fish, and vegetarian course each night). Definitely recommend.
