★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was extremely upset after visiting this place. I asked the cashier if he could stop throwing the food I just bought around because I was trying to catch up with him while trying to put my shopping in my bag and he shouted at me as if he were scolding a child. Then he turned to the next client and made fun of my wife because she is Slovak. At which point I asked if he had a problem with me too since I am Maltese. Clearly he thought foreigners shopping at this establishment were beneath him. The manager was very quick in apologising for his subordinate's behaviour but in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM WILL I ACCEPT ANY FORM OF DISCRIMINATION AGAINST MY FAMILY OR ANY OTHER PERSON. Shame on Hofer for employing such a disgusting person to represent their company.
