Super nice landlords. Home cooking like "man" she likes. We always go there when we are on the way to South Tyrol. Looking forward to the next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nachdem wir über dem Dr Bachmann Weg zum Peerleer See gewandert sind kehrten wir in der Jausenstation Hochwald ein. Die rustikale Sonnenterrasse ist sehr schön. Wir wurden freundlich von der Wirtin begrüßt. Die Brettlejause und der Kaiserschmarrn sind sehr empfehlenswert. Die Alm scheint schon etwas älter zu sein. Die Sanitäranlagen sind einfach gehalten, jedoch sauber. Es ist schön etwas abseits des Skitourismus zu sehen, dass nicht alles schnelllebig ist. Dies trifft auch auf die angemessenen Preise zu. Wir waren rundum zufrieden!
After we hiked over the Dr Bachmann Weg to the Peerleer See, we stopped at the Hochwald snack bar. The rustic sun terrace is very nice. We were warmly greeted by the landlady. The Brettlejause and the Kaiserschmarrn are highly recommended. The Alm seems to be a bit older. The sanitary facilities are kept simple, but clean. It's nice to see something apart from ski tourism that not everything is fast moving. This also applies to the reasonable prices. We were completely satisfied!

Ein kleines Erlebnis...Das ist Alpenleben....Das Essen war super...Es gab die besten Bratkartoffeln die ich bisher essen durfte... Die Hausgemachte Wurst war auch mega... Man sollte hier aber nicht zu viel erwarten...Es ist kein Restaurant, sondern klein und urig....
It was great with them ... loving people, a small rustic hut. A little experience ... This is alpine life .... The food was great ... There was the best fried potatoes I have ever been allowed to eat ... The homemade sausage was also mega ... But you shouldn't expect too much here ... It's not a restaurant, it's small and rustic ....
