Haus Diana - MARTIN´S Restaurant & Hotel - Bergbahnstraße 16

Very nice place to stay right in the foothills of the Austrian Alps. The staff are kind and helpful. The breakfast was a nice addition. Would stay again!

We where looking for a comfortable one-night stay while on road-trip. We did not had any high demands. Whatever the reviews (and comments of the owner of Hause Diana) say, our impression is: - very old building without any authentic atmosphere - raffled beds with moisture rings in the fabric - no personal attention for guests - atmospheric and soulless, no attention to decoration (no flowers on a balcony in Tirol says enough) - wilted plants in the corridor - tired looking rooms - not refurbished for Years - smell of restaurants kitchen through building, even into the rooms - old TV (no LCD nor satellite) - very lousy wifi - very noisy rooms! When others arrive you hear doors, floors and literally what they say to each other. To Hause Diana's owner/manager: Yes, there is probably an excuse for any complaint or guest review. But it's just a very old and tired hotel. YES your building is old, I 've been to many old places, this review is NOT ONLY about your building, but mainly about your tired interior, soulless decoration, noise and smell (but let the pictures speak for themselves ;-) To travelers seeking a hotel stay: in my opinion you can get better facilities and more value for money elsewhere.

The rooms were spacious and very clean, the free breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful, it’s obvious that they take pride in their business. Overall a terrific experience, I would definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend it to others.

I had to write a view to comment on the excellent service at Haus Diana. We stayed the night and headed back to Frankfurt, but ended up forgetting some of our belongings. When they heard we would be leaving before the postage could travel from Austria to Germany, they DROVE to Germany and mailed it from there so it would get to us in time. That is 5-star service! The rooms themselves are nice and quaint and you wake up to an amazing view! As mentioned before, the wifi is definitely hit or miss. All in all, the accommodations themselves are 3.5 stars but the service delivers that 5-star punch! I would not hesitate to stay here if you're looking to visit anything in the area (ex. Neushwanstein Castle) especially since this is higher quality and lower price point than some of the German accommodations nearby. **Note: this place can be hard to find at night with the lack of lighting.

Older-style accommodation but clean, great hospitality, and proximity to ski shop & lifts is unrivalled. All meals from the A-la-carte menu were fresh, really delicious, and beautifully presented.

The hotel and the rooms were nice and very clean. The reason for the three stars is the very disappointing breakfast. We sat down on a table, got out food and drinks and then when we asked for bread we got told „sie dürfen hier nicht sitzen, das ist verboten“. We asked why, and the answer from the waiter was only „it’s for four people, you must move“. He could have told us this five minutes earlier before we got all settled. Of course no help was offered to move our food to the other side of the room. The breakfast choice was very limited (maybe because of COVID) and when I asked for an egg because they were empty the same waiter said „in 10minuted“. He should see when the food is running low and prepare in advanced. If you want a relaxing morning I would recommend a different place.

Really beautiful area and excellent value. Haus Diana went out of their way to accommodate us during Christmas. Very clean and comfortable rooms with a breakfast to please everyone. The bread selection and quality is especially good. Reception is only open a few hours in the morning and evening, but this worked perfectly for us and they were always available or left clear instructions. We would definitely go back!

We made a reservation for a dinner for 4 people, there was a discussion when we got inside the restaurant. We were greeted by a multi-personality, neatly dressed and smiling waiter and showed the place. Later, an impersonal woman fired the poor waiter. we heard everything. then a young man with a nasty nose and ears gave us the menu card and a crumpled paper. meals were both expensive and our peace was lost ... as far as I understand it was a mistake to come here, I do not recommend.
