★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed several days in this hotel in October of 2008. We loved every minute of it. We got to meet the family, the local livestock and wander through the area. The hotel is extremely clean, with both original and new areas. When a large group arrived, there was a blaskepelle (band) in the lobby for the night to entertain all of us. there is a walking path and several fields to walk in. Across the river are several more towns and an airport. As we were wandering across the river, a glider took off right in front of us. As we wandered back, it landed, almost as if they planned it that way. On our last day as we left, we drove to the other side of the river and found a local sheep-shearing festival. There were several large tents and stalls and the sheep were being sheared as we ate brats and drank beer. There was a larger blaskepelle at the festival so a good time was had by all. This is a great hotel is a great area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was excellent. Accommodations were good and comfortable. The family Koch were very helpful. It is located in a rural area that is good for walking and enjoying the outside. My family of 2 enjoyed our time there and wished we had more down time to enjoy being there.

We found a very nice and comfortalble room, always clean.
The breakfast was very good with an excellent choice.
We had also the opportunity to have our dinner in the restaurant with local specialities really good.
Ms Koch and the staff has supported us in organizing our visits to the castles and the typical sites.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel and location with amazing hospitality. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The restaurant serves excellent food. For the main tourist attractions you can travel within an hour by car. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be back myself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quiet hotel in a beautiful location. Gabi and Julia are friendly hosts, and we had a wonderful stay. The family rooms were roomy - bunk beds (with small desk and wardrobe) were in a room separated by a door. Most rooms have a terrace, and all have stunning views. Breakfast included lots of varied food, and we ate at the hotel restaurant every night - the menu was delicious and the service was friendly. We also enjoyed sitting on the patio and in the common room (both with prompt and friendly bar service). Lots of parking, and activities for kids (ping pong, swings set, trampoline). We will return!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel is fabulous; it’s older, but rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable and the staff is wonderful. They also provide pump shower gel and hand soup, which is usually awful, but this stuff was really nice. The food is excellent and much needed after a long day of hiking in the stunning mountains nearby. Great recommendations from the manager, which we followed. Location is lovely, surrounded by greenery and mountains. It suited our purpose which was to hike. The hotel is dog friendly and even created a little welcome package for our dog. This is a wonderful place to stay. A positive and welcoming environment suitable for young and older. The staff were helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. I recommend this hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Max is by far our favorite place to stay in Europe. We’ve been coming here since 2003, both for the Christmas holidays as well as during the summer. Tirol is beautiful, with so much to do and see. Gabi Koch and her team at the Max have become friends and never fail to recommend new and fun things to do in this remarkable region. The hotel itself is warm and cozy, and the food is outstanding. We always feel welcomed, valued, and embraced as family at the Max. Austrian „Gastfreundlichkeit“ at its best!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolutely wonderful hotel! The rooms have spectacular views, the breakfast buffet is scrumptious & the dinners are lovingly crafted to delight every palate. I cannot say enough about the staff...very helpful with information of the area, where to go, what to see & do. After the first day the hotel felt like home. I give the Hotel Maximilian 6 stars ?!!
