Stunning! Soooo amazing! If you come to Innsbruck but don’t come here you will regret!!

It was really nie to get out in the snow even though it was mildy blizzarding. We couldn't really see much due to the conditions but the powdery snow was quite fun to play in.

Observation deck offering amazing views from the top of Innsbruck. It was very cold and windy on October 19th, but there was no snow. Will worth the visit, a nice view and experience. Transportation covered by Insbruck card (funicular and 2 cable cars to the top).

Top of the Nordkette Cable car system. Make sure you pick a day with good visibility when you come up here. It was a little foggy on the way up but by the time we got here the Fog/Low Clouds were almost gone and after our delicious lunch at the Seegrube Restaurant it was totally clear blue skies and gloriously sunny without a skerrick of wind. Amazing views from here and to sit outside on a glorious sunny, still, winter day surrounded by snow and mountains is something I'll never forget from the large landing. Views behind to the towering mountains behind and the ski runs are absolutely breathtaking in the crystal clear air. This is only LAST stop on the Nordkette Cable car, and the cost of the ticket was well worth it. We had a 3 day Innsbruck Card which includes one return trip on Nordkette and we thought it was good value. Make sure you pick a day as we did, when the weather is "perfect" so you can really enjoy the views. At the restaurant we had Goulash soup, and the Dumpling soup. We inadvertently asked for 2 dumplings, not realising they are EACH the size of tennis balls!! One is MORE than enough unless you are incredibly hungry! The views out of the panoramic windows whilst we ate and enjoyed a refreshing beer were gorgeous.

A MUST VISIT if you’re in Innsbruck! At any season this view point is glorious. The ride up to the top is super easy and fun, and the hike to the top is breathtaking! Breath in and enjoy this wonder:)
