I have never seen anyone as arrogant as I experienced in this place in all my life. We were very cold, as there was snow at the top of Innsbruck and we were not prepared. We entered the restaurant to escape the snow and the lady who takes care of the restaurant treated us very badly. We sat down and ordered hot chocolate, then from the counter she shouted: ORDER HERE! It was a time of great lack of education and professionalism. I don't recommend anyone to enter this place. Terrible!

Not much of a food lineup, more like a snack bar, but the view compensates as you are dining on top of the mountain. The apfestrudel lives up to its expectation. Good presentation, texture, taste and experience. Vanilla sauce is a good choice. Goes well with a cappucino. Very tasty, no need to add sugar!

Excellent restaurant. Only single person serving when we were there as it was quiet but superb service. Had the two dumpling soup. Larger than a fist so very filling.

So glad this place serves goulash soup and clear noodle soup! It’s nothing fancy, of course, but it’s such a welcome piping hot bowl of food when it’s freezing outside!

The cafe is located at the top of the Hafelekar Station, the highest station for the Nordkette. We were able to get here using the Innsbruck Pass. It wasn't a particularly good day and quite snowy so it wasn't that busy. We were able to get a table for 5 since some people who had finished were leaving. I quite liked the look of the cafe, it looks like an Alpine cafe, large wooden cross beams and lots of wooden tables. There was only 1 person in the kitchen but he did come over to take our order. We grabbed some cakes and some hot food to share. The drinks and cakes came out first but the hot meals came not long after. The sausage noodle soup was just that, sausage and noodles. The soup was a bit bland though. The Goulash soup was alright and it came with bread. The cream cheese cake was actually quite nice. Fluffy and tasty. The apple strudel was ok but I'm not a big fan of cooked apple. They only take cash so be aware of that so fortunately, we did have enough cash for it. It was a bit pricy but that is expected on the mountain, especially that high up. I thought it was a nice stop but I would guess it wouldn't be as enjoyable if it gets really busy.

Located near Hafelekar cable cart, this cozy place shared some similarities with an Alpine cafe. The menu card had a lot of soup dishes and since it was cold, we decided to go for potato soup and dumpling soup. Potato soup was a big portion and I really liked the taste and the creaminess. I never had an Austrian dumpling soup before and it was nice to try out. However, the chocolate milk was not really hot but only lukewarm.

Quick bite to eat. Expect quick and easy food. The inhaberin is friendly. Sadly service is slow due to a small kitchen. Tip take a look around and just after the ‘talfarht’ left you have the restaurant for yourself (give or take 10-12 minutes).
