M	Martin Becker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der ebene Platz vor einer fantastischen Bergkulisse beginnt zunächst gemütlich mit drei geraden und einfachen Löchern - für den nicht so geübten Spieler ganz praktisch zum warm werden. Mit der Saalach als natürlichem Hindernis macht der Platz dann ab dem vierten Loch auch dem anspruchsvolleren Spieler Spaß. Insgesamt ist der Platz aber relativ einfach bespielbar. Abgerundet durch eine brauchbare Driving Range, einem sehr geschmackvollen Umkleidebereich und einem tollen Restaurant wird der Golftag zu einem schönen Erlebnis. The level course in front of a fantastic mountain backdrop begins comfortably with three straight and simple holes - very practical for the inexperienced player to warm up. With the Saalach as a natural obstacle, the course is also fun for the more demanding player from the fourth hole. Overall, the place is relatively easy to play on. Rounded off by a useful driving range, a very tasteful changing area and a great restaurant, the day of golf will be a wonderful experience.

Die Beschreibung war top und unsere Erwartungen dementsprechend hoch. Leider hat der Platz das nicht gehalten, vor allem der überall präsente Straßenlärm als auch das Grau der Felswände waren wenig einladend. Die Spielbahnen über den Fluss durchaus reizvoll. Positiv zu erwähnen das Essen im Clubhaus im Anschluss, sowohl von der Qualität als auch vom Service. We were there last summer and chose our route especially to play 18 holes there. The description was great and our expectations were accordingly high. Unfortunately, the place didn't hold up, especially the street noise that was everywhere and the gray of the rock walls were uninviting. The fairways across the river are quite attractive. On the positive side, the food in the clubhouse afterwards, both in terms of quality and service.

V	Vo On on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Out of the mountain view, golf design is completly absurd, between tricky first 9 (ok until the 9th) and monotonous last 9 holes (many 2 times par 5 after another with long par 3 in between !?). Very long total walking distance of about 14km on this place. Forget the 9th (river crossing with blind green ?), 14th is a long par 3 walking back completely (200m !) to start the 15th and the 17th (electrical cables !) AND noisy road all the way long, mainly on the 1st holes and the last 3 holes. If you're more unlucky there'll be some car event on the race track belonging to the same place, which makes it worse. The golf place should really invest and install noise protection, similar to what has been done on the hotel side. From course maintenance point of view, even due to heavy rain, greenkeepers should mow the fairways in diagonal alternative lines not only 2 vertical sides which always stops the ball on one side of the fairways, and grass on starting tees is too high with many yellow to red tees not flat at all. I put a 2 stars because the people are nice, and restaurant serves good food, otherwise would have put only 1 star for the place itself. Good luck.
