★ ★ ★ ★ ★ That is a very special place with incredible atmosphere! Wonderful food and extremely friendly staff! If you will be lucky enough to visit it try their very special ribs and huttessen! It is amazing... But at the same time don't forget their wonderful filet steak from local beef, it is one of the best steaks you can try in the region...
I do really suggest visiting this place! If you look for something authentic and at the same time not just wiener schnitzel....)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Priesteregg sits at the top of the mountain/ valley near to Leogang.
We went for an evening meal having reserved a table two days before.
We had a soup as starter (served in a cute pot), steak ( with cheese and pine nuts baked over it ) and the fish platter, followed by dessert dumplings.
The food is very tasty and good, all the dishes arrived in good time too.
It's my second time here and can only recommend it further. The ambience is also very romantic with each table having lots of space and the seating area being split up to make it more intimate.

Service is neutral. Not rude nor friendly.
I felt rushed. We needed to order fast, eat fast because of the second shift that was coming. Very nice view and a fun swing in the garden.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The BBQ ribs are amazing and the desert were fantastic. If in the local area this is a must visit. Momma tressel has 2 other restaurants that are also just as good.
