★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Twice a package never arrived. No bell was rung, no form was left behind, no call was made. But they stated online that those things were done. I had to find out the details myself as previously a package was returned to the original sender and I was never informed. Definitely the worst mail carrier service in europe. Avoid!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really do not understand how could they work as a company. Extremely bad service, no support. Always have a bad experience! This company better be closed, and forgot the name forever Gls. I hope in time someone do something about them. Stay away from delivery options with Gls.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The absolutely worst shipping & mailing service in Austria. Always trouble, only one pick up location in the middle of nowhere.
Had all the typical experiences, from lost packages to not-really-ringing delivery personnel.
If I notice that an online store partners with GLS, I look for another store.
Edit:
Half a year later, again terrible GLS experience. They did not deliver 2 separate packages, did not leave a pickup notice sheet at the door, and thus returned it a couple days later to the sender - where it arrived damaged!
So, not only do I have to wait for more than a month longer for the packages, I also have to deal with the replacement for damaged goods and pay for another delivery attempt.
For the love of anything that is holy to you, stop using GLS.
Edit 2: 5 months later, and here we go again. This time a product from a printing firm. Parcel state says, wrongly, on one day "recipient is on vacation" (my wife and I are both at home, home office. It's f'ing Corona time. And how would they even know the recipient is on vacation or just not at home for moment), on the next day it is not deliverable because of traffic conditions.
After contacting the printing firm they could organize a retry - then, finally, the package came. However, much too late for when I needed it.
GLS, please. Get your sh*t together. Make your delivery a bit more expensive, who cares. But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE actually DELIVER for once!

Bring me my package and give me my refund.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst delivery service in Austria for sure. Multiple times delivery driver just updated my tracking status as " The parcel could not be delivered as the consignee was absent. " . No sticker/paper left, no rigning at the door which only means he never even came to my building, if I saw this delivery driver I would say to him in traditional Croatian way " jedi govna " . Worst part is that I pay for all this deliveries as they come from Germany. Contacted GLS support 2x asking for my shipping money to be returned as they suck at doing their job, got rejected.

You should be in a vegetable shop, not a shipping company.
They lost my passport and ID.
