★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Von der Bergstation des Sesselliftes in wenigen Minuten leicht zu erreichen - der Weg ist etwas steinig -, bietet einen wunderschönen Ausblick zum Erlaufsee und Mariazell als auch zum Ötscher.
Easily accessible in a few minutes from the mountain station of the chairlift - the path is a bit rocky - offers a wonderful view of the Erlaufsee and Mariazell as well as the Ötscher.

Von ihm kam nämlich die Empfehlung, lieber auf die Gemeindealpe zu fahren, als wir nach dem Weg zum Stausee fragten. Sein Argument, der See sei momentan recht knapp an Wasser war zugkräftig.
A beautiful piece of earth. Special thanks to Mr. Teubenbacher, Mayor of Mitterbach. From him came the recommendation to go to the Gemeindealpe rather than asking for the way to the reservoir. His argument that the lake is currently very scarce in water was a powerful one.
