Located away from the busy village of Flachau but close enough to go for groceries. Buy the delicious & fresh “semmel” at the bakery or order the night before for delivery in the morning to your room. It’s also an active farm with all the sounds and smells of farming (cows, chickens, lambs, goats). There’s even a beehive where they make fresh honey. Kids will love the traditional activities of a farm although there is no kids playground. For that, go into the town of Flachau. Excellent options for hiking or biking from here. There’s a dedicated, separate bicycle path along the farm pastures and the river. Will be returning here for amazing summer holiday fun!

R	Remco Jonker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic Austrian family run restaurant on the slopes near the Sunshine shuttle. There is a fireplace inside and sun filled outside seating. Interior is typically Austrian with hunting trophies on the wall and lost of wood. Menus has the usual Austrian favorites and as on of the few places on the slopes here has a veal Schnitzel in addition to the pork version most restaurants serve. Food quality and taste is good with the "grill wurstel" one of the best in a 100 km range. Staff is very friendly and service is generally fast. In winter high season if you can try to avoid the 12.00 to 13.20 time period as this is the time that most ski classes have their break and the restaurant gets very busy. They also rent rooms with half board. The restaurant does not accept debit or credit cards. Good place to go to for a ski lunch or snack.
