★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfriendly service. Seemed like they didn't like us because we were foreigners, because Austrians were seemingly treated well. We felt like they just wanted us to leave as soon as possible so they could free up our table.
I ordered Kaiserschmarrn, and it was pretty standard, nothing special.
A shame, and will not visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best restaurant on the mountain, right in the middle of Absolut Park. Nice seating inside and (if weather plays along) outside on the patio. Excellent traditional food as well as all the evergreens. Friendly personnel!
Food tip: Try the 'Käsespätzle', a traditional dish made of a special kind of noodles with lots of cheese and fried onion rings. The best I had in a while!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've visited this Hütte several times. After the first visit I've mostly come back due to it's very good location, nice interior and sun deck, making me want to give it a second chance ... and a third and more.
Unfortunately I've been disappointed every time. The staff is not very friendly, the size of the servings small. The food is not bad, but it's very ordinary and sometimes bland or even tasteless, so if you are looking for more than a nice view at a good stopping point there are better alternatives.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awefull food(or at least awefull wiener schnitzel). It's one of the most expensive restaurants in this mountain area and all I got was a fried piece of cardboard. Won't recommend this to anyone

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here with some German friends when I was in Highschool. Its a long way from Texas.....and the experience I had while staying there is unforgettable. Its been 15 years since the trip I hope to get back there soon. Cheers
