Achtung: Der Test behandelte keinen direkten Schaden an der Festplatte (wie etwa Headcrash) sondern nur einen Austausch des Gehäuses. Der dort angegebene Preis täuscht also, da keine echte Datenrettung getestet wurde. Als ich mit so einem Schaden (welcher den typischeren Fall darstellt) hinkam wurde aus den vom Konsument getesteten 70,- eine Schätzung von 1.800,- Euro. Die "sehr gute" Freundlichkeit kann ich bei diesem Test ebenso nicht bestätigen, der Besitzer hat einen ziemlich barschen Umgang mit seinen Kunden (auf Stammkundschaft ist er bei dieser Branche auch wohl nicht angewiesen). Als ich den Konsument darauf kontaktierte flüchteten sie sich in der Ausrede, dass es eine damalige Momentaufnahme war, sie aber mittlerweile einige Reklamationen über diesen Herren bekommen hätten. Zudem wirkte auf mich der kleine Laden ziemlich chaotisch, angerammelt voller Sachen, nicht gerade sonderlich auf Reinheit bedacht, etwas dass bei so einer Reperatur sehr wichtig ist (jeglichste Staubpartikeln die direkt auf die geöffnete Platte kommen, können diese unbrauchbar machen und ob so jemand einen peniblen Reinraum hat, macht unter diesen Umständen nicht gerade optimistisch) Ich bin überzeugt davon, da gibt es Besseres in Wien (allein was die Arbeitsumgebung und Freundlichkeit anbelangt) Advertises with the currently 3-year-old test victory of consumers. C	Christian P. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es stimmt, dass die Firma sehr klein und mit viel Arbeitsmaterialien zugeschlichtet ist. Ich kam mit einer defekten M.2 Samsung SSD die nicht mehr erkannt wurde. Es wurde mit deren Hardware versucht, doch noch den Zugriff auf die Platten zu bekommen. Da die SSD sehr heiß wurde, wurde in einem Labor angerufen um zu dieser SSD Platte nähere Auskünfte einzuholen. Es kam eine klare Aussage vom Labor, dass zu 99,99% der Controller defekt sei und es auch so keine Möglichkeit mehr geben wird, auf die Daten zugreifen zu können. Falls aufgrund der Hitzeentwicklung überhaupt noch welche vorhanden sind. Für die Überprüfung und das Labortelefonat wurde kein Cent verrechnet! Mir persönlich ist die Ehrlichkeit viel wichtiger, als die Herzeigbarkeit des Geschäfts. Jeder der wirklich eine defekte Festplatte hat, dem kann ich diese Firma nur empfehlen! Die Platte wurde an ein forensisches Gerät angeschlossen mit dem Kommentar "geht nicht", dieser Vorgang dauerte etwa 2 Minuten. Sofort wurde mir ein Kostenvoranschlag von etwa 1.300,- Euro zur Wiederherstellung der Daten genannt. Auf die Frage wie man dies beurteilen könne, ohne je das Gehäuse geöffnet zu haben meinte er nur: "12 Jahre Erfahrung". Gemeinsam mit einen Freund konnten wir die Daten auch ohne Reinlabor retten, Kostenfaktor: Kaffe und Kuchen für den Freund. Ganz nebenbei ist der Herr auch noch extrem launisch, unsympathisch und unfreundlich. Das Geschäftslokal sieht aus wie ein unaufgeräumtes Zimmer eines unbeaufsichtigten Kindes, überall schmutziges Geschirr neben Hardware seiner Kunden, na Mahlzeit. D	David Oberlerchner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leider gingen beide Festplatten meines NAS-Systems kaputt. Die Erstdiagnose erfolgte rasch und kostenlos inkl. eines Datenrettungsversuches. Auf Grund des Defektes mussten die Platten jedoch in Labor geschickt werden. Es wurden ALLE Daten wiederhergestellt. Der Preis war sehr fair und wurde auch von Anfang an klar kommuniziert. Ich kann den Festplattendoktor wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Unfortunately, both hard drives on my NAS system broke. The price was very fair and was clearly communicated from the start. I can warmly recommend the hard drive doctor.
a	alexandra on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nach langem Suchen,bin ich auf den Festplattendoktor gestoßen. Super Service, netter Mann mit klassischem Wiener Humor,hab ihn von Anfang an sehr sympathisch gefunden. Hat mir sofort helfen können, hab innerhalb von drei Stunden alle meine Daten inklusiver neuer SSD ( da meine externe Festplatte, wirklich kaputt war) bekommen. Preislich war es auch ganz okay, absolut nicht zu teuer. After a long search, I came across the hard drive doctor. Great service, nice man with classic Viennese humor, found him very likeable from the start. Was able to help me immediately, got all my data including a new SSD (since my external hard drive was really broken) within three hours. In terms of price, it was also okay, absolutely not too expensive.

Der Geschäftsinhaber nimmt sich viel Zeit um auf verschiedenste Fragen einzugehen etc. Datenrettung ist prinzipiell nicht billig allerdings das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis beim Festplattendoktor ist sehr fair und angemessen. Das Geschäftslokal schaut sicher nicht wie eine super moderne IT-Filiale eines großen Unternehmens etc. aus. Allerdings ist mir 100% lieber ein authentischer Verkäufer, der weiß was er macht als eine Salesperson von einem großen Unternehmen der mich andauernd nervt wegen Kostenvoranschlägen etc. Insgesamt 5 Sterne und ich kann ihn nur weiterempfehlen! I am totally thrilled! Meine Festplatte war 7 Monate (!!) beim Festplattendoktor, dazwischen hatte er sie einfach nicht mehr gefunden, hatte sich laufend auf eine Krankheit rausgeredet, war kaum erreichbar und weit entfernt von freundlich. Sein kleines Geschäft sieht aus wie die übelste Rumpelkammer, entspricht nicht im geringsten einer staubfreien Umgebung für Festplatten. Als er die Festplatte endlich wieder gefunden hatte, teilte er mir mit, dass man keine Daten retten kann, da sie angeblich überschrieben wurde. Er wollte sie mir auch gar nicht mehr aushändigen, hat allerdings für seine "Arbeit" € 200 verlangt. Ich habe die Festplatte natürlich trotzdem abgeholt und dann bei Siecon Datenrettung auch noch checken lassen. Dort wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass der Schreib- Lesekopf defekt ist und es konnten 99,15% aller Daten wiederhergestellt werden!!!!! Catastrophe!!! Hands off! My hard drive was at the hard drive doctor's for 7 months (!!), in between he simply couldn't find it anymore, kept talking his way out of an illness, was hard to reach and far from friendly. His little shop looks like the worst junk room, not at all the equivalent of a dust-free environment for hard drives. When he finally found the hard drive again, he informed me that no data can be saved because it was said to have been overwritten. He didn't even want to hand it over to me anymore, but asked € 200 for his "work". Of course, I still picked up the hard drive and had it checked at Siecon Data Recovery. There I was informed that the read/write head was defective and 99.15% of all data could be restored!!!!!
