Kurbel habe ich selbst besorgt, aber ich wollte für die einmalige Reparatur nicht auch noch das nötige Werkzeug u. Material erstehen, außerdem wollte ich dem Nachf. von Hrn. Brunner auf diese Weise mal Danke für seine tel. Beratung sagen, die mir schon Einiges an Neukäufen von Material erspart hat. Wir hatten anfangs ein paar Missverständnisse, die aber mit dem zweiten Termin mehr als ausgeglichen wurden. Was ich toll finde: Offensichtlich ist das rel. kleine Geschäft gut sortiert, denn nicht nur hatten sie einen passenden Abzieher für die Kurbel sondern beim zweiten Mal auch einen passenden Schraubkranz (6-fach, 32 Ritzel, die Pros wissen, dass sowas nicht gerade einfach zu bekommen ist ;), und montierten ihn zu einem günstigen Preis. Einziges Manko bei der 1. Reparatur waren das Neuschneiden eines Linksgewindes für ein BSA-Innenlager auf der rechten Seite der Kurbelaufnahme meines Vintage Stahlrahmens. Als der dortige Mitarbeiter mir das am Tel. sagte, um den höheren Aufwand/Preis zu erklären, habe ich nach kurzer Recherche rausgefunden, dass mein Rahmen wohl ein sog. italienisches Gewinde für die Innenlager des Tretlagergehäuses hatte (im Unterschied zu BSA Innenlagern sind hier Beide mit Rechtsgewinde). Ergo hätte man sich das Schneiden eines Gewindes durch Montieren e. passenden italienischem Innenlagers sparen können. Aber alles kann man nicht wissen, Hauptsache mein Rad aus den 70ern läuft besser als jemals zuvor. Alleine hätte ich ewig dafür gebraucht, und noch eine neue Kurbel werde ich wohl die nächsten 20 Jahre nicht brauchen ;) Die heurige In Velo Veritas (legendäre Oldtimer Radausfahrt) ist damit ein Fixtermin 2021. Danke an Hr. Brunner und Mitarbeiter! Was there to exchange the crank with an old racing bike. I got the crank myself, but I didn't want to buy the necessary tools and materials for the one-off repair, and I also wanted to thank Mr. Brunner's successor for his phone. Tell me advice that has already saved me a lot of new purchases of material. We had a few misunderstandings at the beginning, but these were more than evened out with the second appointment. What I think is great: Obviously this is rel. small business well sorted, because not only did they have a suitable puller for the crank, but the second time they also had a suitable freewheel (6-speed, 32 sprockets, the pros know that this is not exactly easy to get;), and installed it to a cheap price. The only drawback with the first repair was the cutting of a left-hand thread for a BSA bottom bracket on the right side of the crank mount of my vintage steel frame. When the employee there told me on the phone to explain the higher effort / price, I found out after a short research that my frame probably had a so-called Italian thread for the bottom bracket of the bottom bracket shell (in contrast to BSA bottom brackets are here Both with right-hand thread). Ergo you would have to cut a thread by mounting e. matching Italian bottom bracket. But you can't know everything, the main thing is that my bike from the 70s is running better than ever before. It would have taken me forever to do it alone, and I probably won't need a new crank for the next 20 years;) This year's In Velo Veritas (legendary vintage bike ride) is a fixed date in 2021. Kleinigkeiten schnellstmöglich, große Sachen mit Zeitsangabe, die eingehalten wird. Preisgünstig. The fast, competent mechanic around the corner. Not an unsolvable problem. Small things as quickly as possible, large things with a time specification that is adhered to. Inexpensive.

Als ich kam stand mein Rad auch schon mit neuem Ständer bereit und es wurde dann auch noch schnell die ein oder andere Schraube angezogen. Sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zackig. Und der Preis hat auch voll gepasst. Although they were very busy, I was offered the little things (changing stands, adjusting aisles) until the evening. When I arrived my bike was ready with a new stand and one or the other screw was quickly tightened. Very friendly, helpful and quick. And the price was also right.
