Position themselves as a bike kitchen, and it's totally not a bike kitchen. Raise their voice when you call them out on it. Treatment is an absolute affront.

Very nice people working here. Great conversation, coffee, and bike tune-up. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Highly recommend.

I'm sorry that I only added a rating without a comment, I was just lazy. I now add this comment to answer to the owner's question: I visited your shop about a year ago and asked for advice/help about a second hand rear wheel that I was given to which I wanted to add an extra gear cog. I found the guy who worked that day quite arrogant and unhelpful. Since my experience is limited to this one time, I think the 3 stars that I gave are fairer than 1. As for your direct competitor, I visited him today for the first time to buy a part and he was friendly. Plain as that. I don't have any connection to him as you are implying, nor do I have anything against you. You just both happen to be the closest shops to me.

We visited here wanting a coffee and a pastry, but it's primarily a bike shop. However the guy who owns it very kindly made a really excellent coffee (no charge!) and we had a lovely chat about bikes and cycling in Vienna. It's a warm and cosy spot and the bikes are beautiful and the owner is extremely friendly.

Depending on the mechanic, either very friendly or an absolutely scam. The older of the two was unbelievably condescending and unsympathetic, out only to argue instead of doing his job. He made up claims and prices that turned out to be completely exaggerated after I had the problem clarified somewhere else and solved for literally 10 euros. When I wanted to leave, he very coincidentally lost his tools so that I had to walk out with a dysfunctional bicycle, but not after he outrageously claimed I had stolen his tools. Very unexpected aggression from a place that otherwise has such good reviews. Never visiting again.

I came here with a difficult problem on a 30 year old bike. I thought the repair would take weeks and be expensive. Instead it took half an hour and cost €20. And I got a free espresso! The owner is very knowledgeable and resourceful. I'll be bringing my bike here in the future.
