★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Techniker sind sehr bemüht, sehr kompetent, freundlich und hilfsbereit, diese hätten 5 Sterne verdient!
Was absolut nicht tragbar ist, dass vorher angekündigte Wartungstermine ständig ohne Bescheid zu sagen, verschoben werden. Wenn so etwas einen Tag vorher gemeldet wird, ist es ja kein Problem, aber man kann nicht erwarten, dass erwerbstätige Personen sich einen ganzen Tag freihnehmen und zu Hause rumsitzen, um auf den Techniker zu warten, der dann nicht kommt.
Heute sollte die Wartung zwischen 07:30 und 09:30 erfolgen und wir sind trotz traumhaften Winterwetter extra zu Hause geblieben. Nachdem um 11 noch immer niemand da war, brachte ein Anruf bei der Hotline zu Tage, dass die Termine verschoben wurden und wir erst am Nachmittag gegen 15:00 Uhr "dran" sind.
Sorry.. so nicht, wir haben jetzt einen halben (Familien)-Tag verloren und gehen jetzt Skifahren.
 Technicians are very hard working, very competent, friendly and helpful, they deserve 5 stars!
What is absolutely not acceptable is that previously announced maintenance appointments are constantly postponed without notice. If something like this is reported a day in advance, it is not a problem, but you cannot expect working people to take a whole day off and sit around at home to wait for the technician to not come.
Today the maintenance should take place between 07:30 and 09:30 and despite the wonderful winter weather we stayed at home. After there was still no one at 11, a call to the hotline revealed that the appointments had been postponed and that it was only around 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon.
Sorry .. not so, we have now lost half a (family) day and are now going skiing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leider kann man nicht keinen Stern geben. Die Dame am service Telefon ist extrem unfreundlich. Termin mäßig weiß die eine Hand nicht, was die andere tut. Ich bin extrem unzufrieden, und das bei dem teuren service pauschale.

Unfortunately, you can't give a star. The lady on the service phone is extremely rude. In terms of deadlines, one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. I am extremely dissatisfied with the expensive flat-rate service.

Nachdem meine Heizungsanalge von Elco nun schon über 25 Jahre alt ist und der Speicher tropft, bat ich schriftlich um ein Angebot für einen Wartungsvertrag bzw. eine neue Heizungsanlage. Das sollte kein Problem sein, da die Therme bis 2018 bei Elco in Wartung war und wir das Haus damals übernommen hatten.
Darauf wurde über eine Woche nicht reagiert, sodass ich telefonisch nachfragte. Ich schlug auch vor, dass bei dieser Gelegenheit gleich eine Wartung gemacht werden sollte. Tatsächlich kam dann ein Techniker, der mir bestätigte, dass der Speicher tropfte (ja eh ...) und ich einen neuen benötigen würde. Für eine Wartung hatte er leider keine Zeit. In der Erwartung, ein Angebot zu bekommen, staunte ich nicht schlecht, als mir für diesen Einsatz eine Rechnung über 171€ gestellt wurde:
-) 108€ Fahrkosten für 10km
-) 63€ für 0,5h (126€/h)
Nach endlosen Mails und Diskussionen schaltet ich schließlich den Konsumentenschutz ein, der mir Recht gab, dass ein Angebot nicht bezahlt werden müsse, es sei denn, dass die Kosten dafür bekannt gegeben wurden. Das passierte bei mir nie. Auch mein Vorschlag, Kunden zukünftig auf allfällige Kosten hinzuweisen, stieß auf taube Ohren. Aus der Sicht Elcos hatte ich eine Störung gemeldet, die natürlich zu bezahlen wäre. Mein eigentlicher Wunsch über ein Angebot wurde erst Monate später erfüllt, als ich die Firmenzentrale in der Schweiz informierte.
Fazit: eine lahme Institution mit eingefrorenen Geschäftsprozessen die zu Präpotenz und überhöhten Gagen verleiten.

Now that my Elco heating system is over 25 years old and the storage tank is leaking, I asked in writing for an offer for a maintenance contract or a new heating system. That shouldn't be a problem, since Elco had maintained the thermal baths until 2018 and we had taken over the house at that time.
There was no response for over a week, so I asked by phone. I also suggested that maintenance should be done on this occasion. In fact, a technician came to confirm that the memory was leaking (yes eh ...) and that I would need a new one. Unfortunately, he didn't have time for maintenance. In the expectation of getting an offer, I was amazed when I was billed for € 171 for this assignment:
-) 108 € travel costs for 10km
-) 63 € for 0.5h (126 € / h)
After endless emails and discussions, I finally switched on consumer protection, which gave me the right that an offer did not have to be paid for unless the cost of it was announced. That never happened to me. My suggestion to inform customers about possible costs in the future also fell on deaf ears. From Elco's point of view, I reported a malfunction, which of course would have to be paid for. My actual request for an offer was only fulfilled months later when I informed the company headquarters in Switzerland.
Conclusion: a lame institution with frozen business processes that lead to prepotency and excessive fees.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bei unserer mehr als 20 Jahre alten ELCO Heizanlage hat ein Mischer zu tropfen begonnen. Auskunft vom Installateur: Den gibt es nicht mehr, da muss ein neuer her, der ist aber leider nicht kompatibel, da muss auch die ganze Verrohrung umgebaut werden, kostet......
Daher Mail an ELco in Leobersdorf ob sie vielleicht helfen können. Und tatsächlich hat Herr Eisenbarth zusammen mit einem Monteur eine Lösung gefunden. Es gab noch einen Ersatzmischer, der kompatibel ist. Prompt - trotz Lockdown - sofort geliefert.
Jetzt muss nur noch der Installateur kommen und die Dinger tauschen.

A mixer has started to drip in our ELCO heating system, which is more than 20 years old. Information from the installer: It no longer exists, a new one has to be produced, but unfortunately it is not compatible, the entire piping has to be rebuilt, costs ......
Therefore mail to ELco in Leobersdorf if they can help. And indeed, Mr. Eisenbarth found a solution together with a fitter. There was also a replacement mixer that is compatible. Prompt - despite lockdown - delivered immediately.
Now the installer just has to come and swap things.
Thank you very much for this exceptional service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bei unserer mehr als 25 Jahre alten ELCO Heizanlage hat ein Mischer massiv zu tropfen begonnen. Der Mischer wurde nur bis 2005 produziert. Anfänglich schien es, dass es kein Mischer mehr lieferbar wäre. Herr Eisenbarth konnte noch ein Stück bei einem Monteur finden. Für den Einsatz von Herr Eisenbarth möchte ich mich noch einmal herzlich bedanken.

A mixer in our more than 25-year-old ELCO heating system has started to drip. The mixer was only produced until 2005. At first it seemed that the mixer would no longer be available. Mr. Eisenbarth was able to find another piece from a fitter. I would like to thank Mr. Eisenbarth once again for his commitment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unsere Ölheizung war defekt und wir brauchten dringend einen Techniker der sie reparieren konnte. Ich habe die Dringlichkeit beim Telefonat mit Elco extra erwähnt, da es draußen Minusgrade hatte, wir ein kleines Baby daheim hatten und es eiskalt war! Uns wurde gesagt, dass sich ein Techniker in kürze melden würde. Nach 3 Stunden haben wir noch einmal angerufen, da sich niemand gemeldet hatte. Daraufhin wurde uns gesagt, dass sich der Techniker bald melden würde. Er hat sich bis heute (3 Wochen später) nicht gemeldet!!! Zum Glück habe ich am gleichen Tag noch eine andere Firma beauftragt, die sofort gekommen ist und die Heizung reparieren konnte!
Die Firma Elco, können wir somit nicht empfehlen, da man sich auf die Mitarbeiter anscheinend nicht verlassen kann!
Our oil heater was broken and we urgently needed a technician who could fix it. I did mention the urgency of the phone call to Elco as it was below freezing outside, we had a little baby at home and it was freezing! We were told that a technician would be in touch shortly. After 3 hours we called again because nobody had answered. We were then told that the technician would be in touch soon. He has not reported until today (3 weeks later)!!! Luckily I hired another company that same day, who came straight away and were able to fix the heater!
We can't recommend the company Elco, because you can't seem to rely on the employees!
