★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommended place to visit for winter and skiing fun. We spent 7 nights here during Christmas 2019 and it was perfect. Friendly staff, delicious food, cosy atmosphere and Christmas eve was so organiser it made the place feel like home. Kössen skiing resort is just 6-7 mins away by car. The hotel has a spa, sauna and jacuzzi which made the hotel very relaxing. I would recommend this place to everyone, we really enjoyed out Christmas holiday here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed for 2 nights. Everything about it was perfect. Very clean and tidy. Nice and cosy rooms. Friendly staff. Breakfast(include in room price) and Dinner was also very good. Nice Wellness facility with relax room sauna, massage parlour, hot tub .. we are definitely going back there again!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Der Schwendterwirt is locate in the Tirol about 90 min from Munich airport. We arrived there by car and there was no parking problem. This is a family business and you feel it in the warm atmosphere. The rooms are quite big and very clean. We took the half board option that was very good, both breakfast and diner. The atmosphere in the dining room is pleasant as there are three of them so no more then 10 tables in each room. The SPA is very nice and clean it includes wet sauna, dry sauna, jacuzzi, and large solarium where you can just sit and relax in front of the snowy peaks after a day of sking or hiking. There are many hikes in the area and you can just choose one every day. Also it is 20-30 minutes to few of the best ski area in the Tirol: Kitzbhuil and Wilder Kaiser - Brixental. We spent great 6 days in this location and we definitely come a gain.
