Hotel Seehof was okay, nothing special. I haven't been to Germany in 11 years and we were really excited to stay at Hotel Panorama, but so bummed that it closed down! Instead, we stayed at Panorama's sister hotel, Seehof owned by the same people that my family knows because we have always been going to Hotel Panorama. Let me start off, do not be fooled by these pictures online. Hotel Seehof is actually way smaller than it seems. For example, the rooms and lobby are low ceilinged, the showers are compact, it's down hill so no gorgeous view of the city of Walchsee or the Alps, the flatscreen tvs are too small, no amazing bar with a dance floor, no crystal elevator, and the only thing missing that they do not have for breakfast is Belgium waffles! Despite being fooled by the reviews and pictures online, I will admit that Hotel Seehof has slightly better pools than Panorama because they do have a gigantic waterslide with a bigger flat screen tv and a lounge downstairs, a bowling alley for more activities, they have 2 outdoor pools, free wifi, and an awesome breakfast chef who makes tasty omelets named Thomas and Austrian beef soup handed by the owner herself Mrs. Munster! Anyways, I was looking forward to Panorama and I wish they opened it back up because I am still so bummed about this! Everybody was super nice and friendly at Seehof, but I don't think I will be coming back.

Absolutely loved this hotel! It was located at the end of my 2 day hike from Kufstein. The rooms are large and spacious! Everything, especially the bathroom, was so clean - I can only say that surfaces gleamed! There is a small balcony to look out towards the surrounding mountains. The facilities were also amazing. Spa, sauna, pool - great for sore muscles from hiking. Pools, indoor and outdoor, plus a dedicated kids area. Didn’t use them but there was also an arcade room, table tennis room, and tennis area! There’s more but I didn’t get to explore them. The food is excellent quality and so worth it to get full board. The staff are warm, lovely and so very cheerful! The booking and even arranging transport was so easy as they have a messenger service that translates to English. They also provide shuttle service to Kufstein if you don’t have a car, for those trying to figure out how to get there. The only cons is most of the signs (to explain how to use the spa stuff) are in German with no English translations. And that it’s still a bit of a walk (around 1.5 -2 kms) to the main town or start of hiking trails. But all in all, it’s a fantastic place and I wish I had stayed longer as one night is not enough. Best internet find ever! Hope to come back one day with family members.

Rooms totally OK with perfect service every day. The view was top. Food was OK. The only negative was a very slow service at the terrace in the evening. Sometimes we were waiting about 10 minutes to get a drink - a simple one. But thanks anyway to everyone for the service there.
