★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir waren vergangenes Wochenende zum ersten Mal im Hotel Alpina - es war ganz ganz toll. Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter, der Wellnessbereich, das Essen und die wunderschöne Umgebung haben einfach nur Freude gemacht. Wir freuen uns schon sehr auf nächstes Mal - vielen Dank!
 We stayed at the Hotel Alpina for the first time last weekend - it was really, really great. The friendliness of the staff, the wellness area, the food and the beautiful surroundings just made us happy. We are already looking forward to next time - thank you very much!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All in all it was ok except for a couple of negative incidents. The area is nice for hill-walking and biking. Our room was roomy and clean and the staff very friendly. The heating was not on and it was a bit chilly especially in the bathroom in the mornings. We got an electric heater after we mentioned that it was too cold but I don't think we should have had to mention it, the heating should just be on. On the first morning at the breakfast buffet, the tea tasted funny and the milk in it turned sour. It turned out it was probably (according to the staff) due to the fact that a citric acid descaler is used to clean to samovar and it hadn't been rinsed properly afterwards. The reactions of the staff could have been more active instead of waiting for us to ask for tea-water from a different source.
