The lady in charge of the reception in the afternoon was really nice and helpful.

This hotel is very modern and very good for anyone on a tight budget. Every room is the exact same so nobody has a better layout or better amenities. I guess it would be better in the winter due to being near the ski lifts but in the summer when we have visited there are a few things that the hotel could do better if not for the guests benefit even for their own gain. They do not provide a minibar/fridge in the room nor do they have air con so in a very warm August this was difficult. Also their bar is not open daily until 6pm so you cannot get any sort of cold drinks up until that time. Surely it would be beneficial to them to offer for an extra cost a mini fridge for the room or provide a couple of ice machines within the hotel. What about having a couple of bbq evenings (weather permitting) to keep guests in the hotel. All in all I would definitely stay again just not in the really hot months.

Good for the price. Great location -- ski in/out. Parking lot right next to hotel. Simple rooms with nothing fancy, but everything you need. Separate toilet from main bathroom; sink/shower have heated floor. Heated ski storage lockers avaiable in hotel basement to store your gear each night. Good quality buffet -- small selection/variety but tasty. Great breakfast food/options. Tasty coffee. Good saua (83 degrees celsius) with several showers, and exposed roof deck to chill out afterwards. Friendly staff and customer service. I left my shoes in the ski locker, called them a few days after we got back from our trip, and the receptionist found them and shipped them to me free of charge.

We were given the "wrong room": our room was already occupied as the neighbours were given magnet card for our room (and I seen in the review section this happened before). So we had figure out - each guest in own language what's going on. The "wrong guests" insisted on simply switching the room, but me and my friend opposed the idea since they also had a dog, who already got comfortable in the room. Luckly, the receptionist quickly resolved the situation but blamed the other guests (btw: they wouldn't occupy our room if given the right key magnet,...). Contrary to the relatively friendly reception staff, the male waiter in restaurant area was obnoxious. As we entered the restaurant, he yelled from the other side of the wrong "we should stop there", bringing attention to many other guests there. After listing us, he accompanied us to the table - apparently because of the Covid rules. But we were given a table by the hallway and buffet - at least 10 people touched our table as they were waiting in lines (see photos). Also, if you order anything to drink, you have to accompany the waiter to the bar close by, fill out a short form (room, tip and table number - who remembers that?); all the other hotels I stayed in have much simpler strategy for that. So ordering nothing extra seemed eaiser after. There are really lots of dogs in a hotel, so I'm not sure it's a good idea in case of alergy. Also, the fitness area was locked and can be only opened by informing the reception: the staff wasnt there at the time, so we didn't get to it. On a plus side, the stuff at the reception was quick and informative. Breakfast and dinner buffet had good variety of food. Location is very close to the center of St Johann and the parking area is big enough.

This hotel just next to the slope is newly built. The rooms are nice. There's a balcony and superior shower. Note that the rooms are rather small. There are 2 saunas on top floor. Nice place to spend the late afternoon (open from 4 to 9). The sauna has indoor relaxation place with free delicious tea and cool lemonade. Personnel in the bar and the restaurant is alright.

Modern alpine style hotel in good location. Rooms are medium size but separate toilet without a washing sink is not convenient nor hygienic. Restaurant is very good for breakfast and dinner. Pleasant and helpful staff. Good WiFi and ample car parking spaces.

Friendly and modern hotel located a short 10 min walk from St. Johann center. Lots of sporting, adventure and nature opportunities are available in the city and surrounding area. The hotel hosts several active sessions each day, including yoga and body exercises. A ski lift is located just beside the hotel, but it appears not to be active during the summer season. The parking is free except for the underground parking garage. The outside parking lot was never full during our summer stay. We stayed in the roof appartment, which accommodate 4 adults and 4 children across two double bedrooms and a bedroom with bunk beds. Additionally 2 people could sleep on the large sofa in the living room. Besides this, the appartment contains two modern bathrooms, a large kitchen with oven, dishwasher and refrigerator/freezer, a large living room with TV and a large dinner table, and direct access to a very nice private terrace with a beautiful view of the mountain side. We did not try the local restaurant in the hotel, but it appears nice and friendly. Please note that during summertime the temperature can be quite high, and the valley does not have much wind. Due to this, the appartment can be rather hot to sleep in. No cooling is available besides opening the remote controlled roof windows and the terrace door, which unfortunately also opens the appartment to insects. Some fans or AC cooling would have been nice, and would also in my view have provided the last star in this review. We did not found a way to turn off the hallway lights.
