N	Nine Stuck on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Für uns war das Hotel in Ordnung, allerdings absolut nicht würdig 4-Sterne zu tragen, das Zimmer war in Ordnung, definitiv sauber aber hatte keine Minibar und war ansonsten auch nicht 4-Sterne würdig, das Frühstück ging für uns gar nicht, kaum Auswahl, die Brötchen haben geschmeckt als wären sie vom Vortag und die frisch zubereiteten Eierspeisen haben nach nichts geschmeckt. Wie die Küche des Hotels ansonsten ist können wir nicht beurteilen, da wir nur Frühstück gebucht hatten um flexibel zu bleiben. Spontan Abendessen geht in diesem Hotel nicht (war für uns jetzt aber auch nicht weiter schlimm), nur mit vorheriger Anmeldung morgens/mittags. Der Service war nicht besonders aufmerksam aber auch nicht schlecht. Wäre das Crystal Hotel ein 3-Sterne Hotel, dann würde alles passen und man hätte gewusst worauf man sich einlässt, aber bei 4 Sternen sind wir doch besseres gewohnt. For us the hotel was okay, but absolutely not worthy of a 4-star, the room was okay, definitely clean but had no mini-bar and was otherwise not worthy of 4-stars, breakfast didn't work for us, hardly any choice , the rolls tasted like they were from the day before and the freshly prepared egg dishes didn't taste like anything. We cannot judge how the kitchen of the hotel is otherwise, as we had only booked breakfast in order to be flexible. Spontaneous dinner is not possible in this hotel (it wasn't too bad for us now), only with prior registration in the morning / noon. The service wasn't particularly attentive but not bad either. If the Crystal Hotel were a 3-star hotel, then everything would fit and you would have known what you were getting yourself into, but with 4 stars we are used to better things.

The waiters were splendid, friendly and professional. The food was good, 3 choices for each Dinner and one vegetarian choice. The drinks were normally priced, not cheap not expensive. The wellness facilities were basic but fine, towels included robes were not. The owner was not our biggest fan, not sure why. He did not say goodbye to us eventhough he saw us leaving, which is odd. Apart from this, great hotel, good staff (especially Dominique!!) good food and fine rooms.

The location is just perfect, few steps from Max Pub, Main Gondola Station and Ski Schools. You can store your skiing equipment in the warm storage room at the hotel itself. There is parking for at least 8 cars in front of it. The staff is friendly and helpful. This year a young enthusiastic new manager Verena turned this good hotel into a brilliant one. The new chef makes every dinner time a divine experience. Every dish is a peace of art and delicious too. Impressive creativity and such a great talent. We all are very much impressed with the modern approach to the typical Austrian style hotel.

G	GWerner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just got back from our third stay at this hotel, and it was fantastic. New local owners and manager, who took over not long after our last visit 3 years ago. They have raised the bar. The experienced waiter staff and chef are outstanding. The evening meals are the highlight of the stay. 4 courses, yet with extra bonus surprises expect 6 servings. The food is exquisite, delicious and presented like a work of art. The slow service concept means you can spend quality time with your family, it can take 2.5, to 3.5 hours, however you will not find a better way to spend you evening in st Johann. Nothing is too much effort, extra food, catered to a sulphite allergy, and on the last night our dinner was shortened to 2 courses as we wanted an early night (prior to 4am alarm). The breakfast was great too, especially the eggs which are individually prepared and served in generous portions. A mini buffet is served at the table, and you can pretty much ask for whatever you want and they will likely have it (for example delicious granola, yogurts, bacon) Other new services included robes for sauna in the room, and possibility to pick up towels to take to the local swimming pool from reception. A nice bag in the room is useful for taking your towels to the pool, we liked it so bought 2 to take home.
