Extremely delicious food, very friendly service and nice / cozy atmosphere. All in all, the best restaurant on the Achensee and surroundings, if not in the whole of Austria.

Als die bestellte Suppe (Oma‘s Suppentopf für 9,90 Euro) dann relativ schnell auf Tisch stand, waren wir ziemlich ernüchtert. Eine intensiv nach Maggi riechende Mischung aus TK-Gemüse (Brokkoli, Karotten, Blumenkohl und gelben Rüben), Instant-Suppennudeln und Rindfleisch in mäßiger Qualität stand vor uns. Einziger Pluspunkt: Sie war warm. Da stellt sich schon die Frage, ob Oma wohl so gekocht hätte...
The cozy decor definitely makes you expect good things ... we thought.
When the ordered soup (Grandma's soup pot for 9.90 euros) was on the table relatively quickly, we were quite sober. We were faced with a mixture of frozen vegetables that smelled strongly of maggi (broccoli, carrots, cauliflower and yellow beets), instant soup noodles and beef of moderate quality. The only plus point: It was warm. The question arises whether Grandma would have cooked like this ...
