★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful and authentic Austrian food and atmosphere with a view (outside terrace). Service was pleasant and friendly and the food was exceptional. The Schnitzel was superb. Ended with a perfect Apfelstrudel and Obstler!
? Lost one star for the cigarette smoke that came from the bar. The restaurant is separate, but non-smokers will still smell the cigs even after leaving.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to lunch at this Restaurant near the Achensee in Tyrol Austria. Ordered ZWIEBELROSTBRATEN, which is a beef roast cooked in lots of onions. It was served with SPAETZLE noodles. There was also a side salad made with green lettuce, coleslaw and cucumber salad. Everything was very tender and delicious.
I had a HEFEWEIZEN beer with it and an ESPRESSO after the meal.
The portions are huge, so bring a really good appetite to be able to finish it all.
My partner ate a CHICKEN SALAD with breaded chicken cutlets on a large mixed salad and she finished her meal with a Cappuccino.
The prices are moderate in this Restaurant. The total bill for everything
was Euro 37 which comes out to about $45
This place is just across the historic church of the village. When there make sure you drop in and visit the beautiful baroque church.
I recommend this place and will visit it again.
