★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a good place to rent skis. However, when you want to rent a snowboard ...... STAY AWAY! This place is specialized in and has a lot of knowledge of skiing... about snowboards not so much.
So I am a female of regular height and shoe size, however they rented me a snowboard for a large and heavy guy, with a large shoe size. End result: I had to work so hard on this board, my legs were all cramped up and sooo painful at the end of the day. Also the bindings on this snowboard were so simple (just two straps on top of my feet and toes) I had to put them really tight and they we pressing hard on my feet, creating painful pressure points.
After day 1, I immediately went back to the store to see where the problem was, but they said it was my shoes and not the board or bindings. In other words: they had no idea!!!
The next day I want back to get a different board, but they have only 3 sizes and all boards are unisex. Of course I wouldn’t go on this board anymore and they offered to refund my board minus one day. So no compensation for 1. giving me a wrong board in the first place and 2. costing me one day of snow fun!
In Zell am See there is another place specialized in renting snowboards and there I rented this awesome board perfect for my riding style, size and height!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am extremely happy with the service I received! I bought my first ski boots from here. They were hurting, so the salesman baked them 3 times in order to mould them to the shape of my foot. After this didn't work, they have me another brand new pair from a different brand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the fifth year we’ve hired our skis from Bründl. We pre-book our skis online and receive
a discount for pre-paying. Our details are kept online so booking the following year is quick and easy. The whole process when you get to the shop is pain free as they have your skis and poles all ready for you, set to you specific requirements. It’s busy in the shop but it’s well organised and there’s a great atmosphere. All the guys are really helpful and have a great attitude. Nothing is too much trouble. A special thanks to Christian and Ernst. See you next year

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a large group of 18 in Zell am See last week begginers to accomplished advanced skiers. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Intersport Bruendl for all shopping and ski hire requirements, they have numerous shops ( you can visit any with any of them with any issue with your skis or boots) they are very customer service focused, helpful and friendly. Talk to them in advance if you have a group and the on line interface is very simple to use.
