★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad experience. Drivers named Engin and Boke left me waiting 20 Minutes in the very cold and rainy weather and after that they canceled the ride just because in was not in the Vienna direction.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pick up time of arrival was 6 min then it changed to 20 min. When I cancelled the ride they charged me 2Euros. DO NOT USE THEM !!! also if I wont get a refund prepare for legal action

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It said pick up time is 6 minutes but after 2 minutes the driver already arrived. The driver was speaking German and English and i had no problems as described by others before. Maybe you need a bit of patience :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BUDAPEST: The taxi driver charged me 70 euros for an initial 7 euro ride. Apparently they are allowed to have alternative business accounts, which is no where mentioned on the Bolt website or app. This means, if you pay with card the driver can give you a Bolt bill with the real amount and then charge your card a different amount which goes directly to their own personal account. I contacted both Bolt and taxify and they have been refusing to compensate me for over a month now. I'd be extra careful while using the services of this company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife wanted to catch me up in Traiskirchen from Baden, so she called Bolt for the 5.5km trip, what should have been 9.4€. The driver charged her 20€, because apparently he came from Vienna!!! He didn’t let her go until she paid more then the double price! Of course my wife complained by Bolt, and Bolt answered:
“Sorry to hear that but the driver told us that it did not happen that way. He did not charge you a total of 20€.”
Never Bolt again...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is good to have competition, better prices for consumers. Rude Austrian taxi drivers are no different and should not be tolerated. I had great Bolt drivers mostly, there are always exceptions of course but the service is fair and fairly priced. Some times there are long waiting hours in which case you can take any other service.
