Found this small store during a walk ... Great, another possibility to get groceries ? Nice staff and not many people are around, so it's almost quiet and peacefully, when I get my groceries ?

BILLA supermarkets, as part of the REWE conglomerate, are premium stores offering quality products — albeit at steeper prices. These markets are usually better stocked and one needn't send out search parties to get hold of an employee (who are usually courteous and know their products). They do have a number of moderately priced house brands (such as CLEVER) which will not bankrupt one's budget as long as one refrains from impulse buying, especially when getting near the cashier queues — which have generally grown shorter with the introduction of self-service check-out (requiring some type of credit, debit or bank card). UPDATE: Just tested the Click&Collect scheme – meaning ordering and paying online but picking it up personally. It worked very nicely, though two comments are in order: (1) 4 of 25 articles ordered and paid were not in stock, which seems a lot considering I ordered the previous evening and picked the order up at noon. I suspect tracking product availability could stand a few tweaks. The courteous young lady did apologize and also assured me that the cost of the missing items would be transferred back to PayPal. (2) I was not surprised that my order was boxed and ready to go, but strangely no one asked me if this was my order and I was never asked for credentials, app barcode, order no. or the like. Literally anyone could have come in and asked if his order was ready, on the chance that there was one waiting.
