S	SG 1985 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Essen im Berghaus Außergschlöss ist sehr lecker, der Wirt wirklich sehr nett. Nur, finde ich das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis nicht angemessen. Die Portionen sind leider sehr klein und nach einer Wanderung zu wenig. Aufgrund der super Lage, würde ich dem Gastgeber empfehlen, größere Portionen mit entsprechenden Preisen anzubieten. Die meisten erwarten keine Feinkost auf ner Hütte, was auch an der geringen Besucherzahl zu sehen war. The food at Berghaus Aussergschlöss is very tasty, the host is really very nice. Only, I don't find the price / performance ratio appropriate. The portions are unfortunately very small and not enough after a hike. Due to the great location, I would recommend the host to offer larger portions with appropriate prices. Most of them do not expect any delicacies at a hut, which was also evident from the low number of visitors.

Piatti classici, buoni e numerosi. Classic Austrian stopover. From the start of the park (where you have to leave your car) it will be a 30 minute quiet walk. Classic, good and numerous dishes.

Der Wirt ist zudem auch sehr unfreundlich und Toiletten dürfen auch nur ‘konsumierte Gäste’ benutzen. I can't understand the good reviews at all ⚠️ price / performance very poor (small portions and e.g. a glass of tap water costs 1.60 euros). The host is also very unfriendly and toilets are only allowed to use ‘consumed guests’.
J	Jump NYC on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ for anyone who wonders if they should eat here or walk on to the next restaurant, the Venedigerhaus, this is what you should know: the Berghaus Außergschlöss is THE gourmet-option of the 2, the Venedigerhaus is there to feed the masses - and it’s cheaper, too. Both restaurants are beautifully located but especially if you are interested in local specialties, particularly wild game, this place is an absolut must! If you have never been here, walk on to see both, but wait with your meal until returning and then try the food here, it’s a whole different class and you will receive a meal you will remember.

a	andrewg367 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I stayed here for several days. Met some friends, went for some hikes, had some really good food and quite enjoyed the stay. The owners are very nice and we would not hesitate to come back again. My only complaint is that you can not drive to the hotel. You have to either call (and wait) to get picked up or catch a tractor/shuttle that runs every once in awhile. We waited for several hours for the shuttle when it was time to leave.
