Extraordinary location for the exquisite balance between the garden, the buildings and the art there exhibited. The upper Building contains a few iconic Klimt's paintings, and offer an amazing view of the city of Vienna

I really enjoyed the museum, and the exposition of Dali/Freud. It's not too busy, so you can really sit down and slowly appreciate the artworks. On the other hand the ticket is too expensive. Museums like Louvre or Vatican Museum are by far bigger in size and fame but actually cheaper than Belvedere

Beautiful garden to walk around and the museum itself is fantastic. Inside you can see 'The Kiss' by Gustav Klimt, which seems to attract the most viewers. There are multiple floors with paintings which are definitely worth a visit! Personally if preferred the many paintings by Waldmüller

A magic place which is impressive both outside and inside. Lower Belvedere offers various exhibition (at the moment Dali and Freud) while Upper Belvedere has a great permanent collection of Klimt, Monet, Munk and other great artists

The Belvedere is a historic building complex in Vienna, Austria, consisting of two Baroque palaces, the Orangery, and the Palace Stables. The buildings are set in a Baroque park landscape in the third district of the city, on the south-eastern edge of its centre. It houses the Belvedere museum.

A beautiful palace with very large gardens. I saw the art gallery of upper Belvedere where they had a Klimt exhibition. Anyone who visits Vienna must visit the Belvedere palace. It's mesmerizing

There are many beautiful parks in Vienna and each of them captivates with its unique beauty. No wonder this palace complex, built in the 18th century as a summer residence for one of the greatest commanders of his time, Prince Eugene of Savoy, is called in Italian - Beautiful view. The Upper and Lower Belvedere, together with the garden laid out around them, form a magnificent baroque ensemble. On May 15, 1955, the Austrian Declaration of Independence was signed in the Upper Belvedere. The Upper Belvedere Palace houses a small but very valuable collection of paintings by Gustav Klimt and the impressive painting Napoleon Crossing the Alps by Jacques-Louis David.

The beauty of this place is something to behold, even during winter when the flowers are not blooming. The field is enormous and the building is covered with amazing carvings and statues in true medieval style. In the mid of December, there is usually Christmas own market. With even entertainment for kids. You can buy Viennese snacks, souvenirs, decorations and home and personal items. Due to COVID, go with a COVID vaccine card, the police will be at the entrances to check.
