★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful! I only went to the garden. So much to see. Also, there is a botanical garden behind that you can just walk into. The Belvedere garden and botanical garden are free. There is a restaurant and washrooms. There was a very interesting children rainbow art exhibition they I enjoyed. Public transportation is all around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really beatifull place interesting for every kind of people. History, art, architecture, or just walking around and enjoy in beatiful garden.
Unfortunately it was windy and cold, but i can imagine how beatiful is it in summer with everyhthing is green and all fountains are working, so next time planning to come in summer or at least spring.

No wonder this palace complex, built in the 18th century as a summer residence for one of the greatest commanders of his time, Prince Eugene of Savoy, is called in Italian - Beautiful View.
The Upper and Lower Belvedere, together with the garden laid out around them, form a magnificent baroque ensemble.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The well maintained gardens of the baroque Belvedere palace are worth a visit year round, especially around sunset. In the palace cafe, one can enjoy a slice of cake and a melange. Adjacent lie the university's Botanical Gardens (opening hours differ seasonally). Avoid walking on the lawns - unless you wanna come off as a tourist ?.
