Nach Probefahrt mit Mechaniker, wurde die koppelstange ausgetauscht, und das Geräusch war weg.

Very nice team, appointment made at short notice, strange noise in my old Skoda that had been around for a long time and nobody found the fault.
After a test drive with a mechanic, the coupling rod was replaced and the noise was gone.

Es gibt bei der Verrechnung keine bösen Überraschungen, weil die Kosten für allfällige unerwartete Reparaturen zuvor besprochen werden, was nicht überall so gehandhabt wird.
