★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is peacefull during normal day with good weather, however better to check when are the roman days in museum nearby. That weekend is always nice with lot of program.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ That was great! I visited there with my company and was surprised how accurate and informative that was. Our tour guide was gorgious and knew what she was talking about. She was pretty young so I found her knowledge about ancient Roman times to be quite impressive.
The villas are rebuilt to exactly what they have looked like back then (based on the evidence found there) and are all accessible. One can admire the floor heating system, the wall decorations, furniture, kitchen elements, mosaic floors, baths and and and.
The tour takes round an hour and leads through 2 villas, one of a middle class Roman and one rich one, and the basins (baths).
I found it awesome and recommend it to everyone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the public arena, and although the mighty ramparts have long since gone, it is easy to imagine what would have happened here.
The amphitheatre is free to enter. You can download an App which gives a greater visualisation and history as you stand on the marked centre point of the arena.
Note: the long gravel approach path is a nightmare for wheelchairs and kids pushchairs with small wheels

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool to see but not much to do at actual site. Reconstructed gladiator arena is next door and also good to visit. Get your info at the museum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just saw big parking place so I stopped there, went for a walk, and found this amphitheater, and also gladiator school from the past. Even though its near the main road, there was nobody, just me. Not much to see, but as a quick time killer, go there ?
