★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place with easy accessibility from the parking lot. Small interior interactive display inside the entrance building.
Visit here and the main park and the museum in Petronell all on the same day to get the memento coin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You need a ticket. There's not much left after the Romanian amphitheater, but after so many centuries gone it's quite natural. A pleasant place to take a rest and have a sandwich :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is an admission charge to view this small amphitheatre, but you can buy a ticket that covers all three paying sites (plus BDA Museum and Petronell Archaeological Park).
This was the military arena, being located only a hundred meters from the main garrison.
Not much remains of the original structure, as the naughty locals have plundered the stones to build houses and walls.
Note: Closed in winter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place in nature, especially exciting to visit with the children. You can run in and around the arena, check out the old relics dug out there and imagine yourself a Roman Legionnaire :-D Unfortunately not much is preserved from the old times, but what is there is also worth seeing .
